Operation Monster Force

See for me it"s too big. Bigfoot is supposed to be like 8 or 8 and a half feet tall not 12 feet.

Looks great with Alpha Flight though

Found it!

Wyldman's definitely right about the bear body, but Chatworth's headsculpts survived the switchover without change, so I imagine if they went forward with Shurukahn here, this is about what he'd look like.

showed off the new mold yet back in 2024

Also hilarious seeing Fall 2023 on the name plate for these guys (though this one had a reasonable delay)

Even better. I like the monstrous yeti quite a bit, but it's lacking that military crossover that defines this line for me.

Like, maybe they're not intelligent enough to weild weapons, but maybe some sort of harness and headgear that looks like the Forgotten King is somehow controlling or directing them. Or a heavy weapon on their back, like a Kroot-ox, where they're being used as a portable weapons platform rather than being gunners themselves.

Got Chatsworth and The Spy yesterday. They're both... slightly underwhelming?

I'll start with the Spy since I don't have too many issues with him. Looks fine, but his shoulder articulation hurts him a lot. I guess if I'd messed with my General more, I'd have know ahead of time that this suit body definitely isn't getting into any two handed poses with that PPK. There's butterfly joints under there, but they ain't doing much. My other gripe is with the swappable hands and heads. Both skin tones are fairly far off from what we've already gotten. At least what I already have. The white guy parts are way peachier than the parts that came with The General and the black guy parts are more vibrant than the definitely-not-Carl-Weathers parts from the General. For a line that's kind of being built entirely around customization, you'd imagine that having matching skin tones across the board would be a priority.

Chatsworth cuts a very cool silhouette and is sculpted really well, but his articulation hurts him a lot. He's just not fun to pose. I was hoping elbows and knees could at least get 90°, but neither can. A lot of his joints are super tight, making me afraid to move him around. Probably my biggest articulation issue is his hips. I will say it until the day I die: I hate drop down hips. I hate them on Classifieds and I hate them here. His hip joints are so tight and hard to move around, I'm constantly afraid I'm going to snap the thin peg inside the hip. I'd rather have a figure with limited movement than a figure that's broken. Ideally, they have sculpted and engineered him in a way that neither is an issue, but I'd rather they have just given him a solid hip peg and sacrificed the tiny bit of extra movement you get from the drop downs. I just gave him a hot soak in the sink to hopefully loosen him up a bit. I'll probably end up putting some shock oil on the hip balls. He'll look cool on the shelf, but I can't see myself getting him down too much to fiddle around with him. If he was still on the War Bear body, I could excuse some of this stuff, but the fact that they built him from scratch, these things should've been taken care of.

Spy really suffers at that $40 price point because in the end, its just a man in a suit.

Biggest miss is that the hood doesn't actually fit any cobra commander neck joint.

Robo just posted a review of Spy, Enemy, and a couple of the SoF troop builders and was showing that neck issue off. Any easy workaround would be to just swap the entire neck. So far in my experience, the base of the standard FMF neck will perfectly fit onto Classified bodies.

I haven't shipped my Spy yet because I keep debating on whether I want not-Cobra-Commander but I just know if I spend 40 bucks on that figure Classified will finally give us a hooded CC like three days later. Maybe I should do it as like, a heroic self sacrifice for people who want a real one.

Yes, but like also we know what this figure is supposed to be….

But all the BBWS ball pegs are the same size, right? So it's more important for the head that comes with the figure to fit on the figure it comes with. And it would be totally insensible to change the peg size for these figures as now the line is not compatible with itself, which is one of the major selling points.
AND not having the same size ball peg allows an extra layer of deniability: "What do you mean this is a Cobra Commander head? It doesn't even FIT, you crazy lawyer guy."

Especially considering (truly one of my only knocks on Classified) the other line is inconsistent with their head pegs. Any line that stays true to its swappable parts gets bonus points from me.

This is the hope that keeps me getting out of bed in the mornings. I haven't tried a full neck swap yet, but I've heard people *say* it works.

Instead of buying a whole "The Enemy" figure, though, I'm just going to use one of the extra hood heads that will come with my Crimson Moon cultist. My preferred Cobra Commander is the wave 1, fancy dress version, so I'd have to paint the hood to a matching blue anyways.
