Yeah. Instant Classics is her new show. I do 100s deep podcasts by listening to alternating current eps and older eps in order starting with #1 until I catch up. The History Hit Medieval show is good too as is the one based in creepy history stories. After Dark I think.

I like the Ancients a lot as well. Prob second favorite History podcast after the Rest is History. Although I haven't started the new Mary Beard podcast yet. Sure its engaging as hell. Quite a few of those History Hit podcasts are worth a listen.

I'm a comic style figure collector and really annoyed how much better (comic suggesting) the new White Queen body looks with the boxset head on it. Dang; sorta wanted my $35 for the old figure. Now it just collects dust. Do I leave the 97 or boxset head on it? the Jean and Cyclops animation...

Fair enough but for 3000 years she didn't really have one. Not that I don't love some Harryhausen. My preference is for Figura Obscura to look like the actual myths the characters are based on. Up to now that has been the charm of the line. Ganesha that looks like Ganesha; not video game Ganesha.

Only in Harryhausen is Medusa a snake bodied lady. Still they should do her. Easy enough for a beautiful and a monstrous facial sculpt. So many Greek mythos characters they should do.

The only Pops I own are the Hostess mascots bc they actual look like the characters. Of course the black blank eyes annoyed me so I did a quick paint job to complete the look. The child me in the 1970s always had Hostess envy. Obviously the comic ads but basically it was the rich and/or spoiled...
