1/12 Diorama/Terrain/Props/Vehicles

Looks like the “Super Msuk” street diorama from Ramen Toys is shipping! I got my fedex notice that two boxes weighing 36.82 lbs arrive tomorrow!
I just looked this up and started DROOLING. 36 pounds is insane though, that's like one of those ridiculous boardgame kickstarters that comes with too many minis.

Super cool, but I honestly don't need things like working lights or a motorized winch or pack-in figures. I just want 1/12 vehicles that are affordable so I can get multiples for chase scenes.
I've got the Roboskull, the Ramen Racer, and some various motorcycles. I keep thinking I'd like another car or the Ramen van, or maybe go pick up that dirt cheap Fortnite boat which costs just a little more than a standard ML now. But I truly am running out of space and can't justify it. I was hovering over the "buy" button on the Ecto-1 until the last minute and passed on it. I still kinda wish I'd pulled the trigger on that one.

It's an illness really. I realized not long ago a whole lot of my figure/dio/vehicle collecting was me trying to get back to the memory of the model train cities my grandfather would set up around Christmas, only I was an idiot and picked a scale 4x the size. Well, those cities and Godzilla miniatures.

Oh man, is the boat down that low now? I've been thinking about that for a long time. There's a long tradition of unnecessary boat chases in 80s and 90s HK action that I need to celebrate. But I keep looking at those long-nosed RC speedboats from the era online. They're usually pretty expensive but occasionally I run into a cheaper for-parts one that I'm always tempted to buy.

I've got some Tamiya model kits for motorcycles and I'm always looking for cheap, era-appropriate models there too. I'd love one I didn't have to build, but generally in that scale that means either modern bikes or classics from the early days of motorcycle clubs and that's just not the aesthetic.

So basically, I'd have no room if these companies would just develop the same interests as me.

I'm so sorry to have to do this to you...

Yeah and motorcycles from outside of a line are hard to get in scale. I found one or two that work, but it's real hit and miss. The one thing I'm shocked nobody has made is a little-bird helicopter. Like an actual vehicle that would scale to 1/12 pretty naturally and go well with lots of action-y figures.

You have no idea how close I've been to picking that boat up too. Every time I've got a little spare credit I think "well, I could make it cost LESS" than an action figure... at that price I'd be a FOOL not to have it". I haven't given in yet simply because I only have like one or two figures that fit an ocean theme. I could maybe make it work with my street level villains, sort of a gun/drug running boat...

No, that way lies madness...

A couple of arguments for buying the boat.
