Mattel DC Figures

Amazing. That is giving me SUCH hardcore Kenner vibes. I do hope they make the kids' line fun, at least from time to time, beyond just 'here's a lower-deco, lower-articulation version of this character.'

Gard, you're kinda missing the point, buddy. If Gotham By Gaslight Batman and Hunter/Prey Superman help get us Shining Knight and Vigilante then we should be all for it. No one says you have to buy the Batman and Superman variants. Don't. Plenty of other people will. Just buy what you're interested in.

I’ll need a show of good faith up front in this regard, by say wave 2. The aforementioned classic Shining Knight would be the perfect bone for me to gnaw on.

I hope the Batmobile does well, I'd love to see a variety of Batman vehicles out there. The Breyfogle Batmobiles have always been my favorites in terms of design, and I'd love to see something similar here. I don't need exacts, but we need more two seater Batmobile toys, and that canopy is so easy to work into the design philosophy of 80s Joe "vehicles with big ass opening canopy and plenty of room for meaty ass hands to put figures in there".

Also I just like the blue more than gray and all black.
 
OK so, what hero's are the Turtles cosplaying as for the inevitable TNMT/DC crossover series? My bet is Leo/Supes, Mikey/Flash, Raph/Bats, Donny/GL, April/WW, Shredder/Bane

Donatello Cyborg would be a low hanging fruit. I could see a few avenues for April. Supergirl and Wonder Woman are obvious ones, but a Black Canary design could work, with Casey being Green Arrow. Very easy design to mash up with Casey.
