Third Party Figures

Exactly. It was a very specific time and place with technology and where we were all at that I don't think can be repeated. Post Lich King kind of destroys any hopes of being at a lazy pace with an onslaught of checkpoints and to-do lists.

Levelling and exploring was my favourite part. The last few times I've attempted to play I levelled characters through the dungeon finder because I enjoy tanking.

I still have friends from 20 years ago that I met in game. We don't even talk about the game anymore, but we still have things to talk about.

I quit after taking down the Lich King, it felt like a perfect place to end what had been a mostly great (albeit dramatastic) few years. I then came back in the final weeks of MoP purely because I'd heard about the felfire quest and wanted that and the Black Harvest title (just made it a couple of days before the deadline after numerous failed attempts - in the end it was a combination of seeing Prince and drinking too much gin that saw me ascend to the zen state needed to juggle all those damn plates demons).

Ended up sticking around for another couple expansions and honestly, Legion was the best time I ever had in the whole darn thing, it was so much fun. Which made the comedown of the impossibly awful expansion afterwards unbearable so I walked away again for the final time a month or two into BFA and never looked back. Had some awesome times though so I'll always (mostly) think fondly of it.

Does anybody have the Hellcat Aragorn? If so, how is it? I'm looking to get it but there are barely any reviews out there.

Curious about that Aragorn myself - gawd, all I want is a really nice 1/12 scale LOTR set that won't cost me a car loan to get. May never happen in my lifetime.

True story, I was a BAD WoW player but my greatest joy in the game was playing what, for all intents and purposes, Astarion 15 years before BG3 minus the vampirism, just an annoyingly self-absorbed blood elf and I'd troll all the edgy alpha-male roleplayers but actively not caring about anything other than looking pretty. My best friends at the the time were like 'this might actually be the best version of you when you stop being an beligerent townie and just act like a petty b*tch."

I also developed my most popular character in my book series over in City of Heroes. "Where did Emily Entropy come from?" "I wanted a character that would make anyone who talked to her question every single thing they've ever said out loud."

Overwatch coded.
Not a third party line, of course, but I'll go to my grave thinking Hasbro's Overwatch line was fucking wonderful.
