Playmates Vintage Rereleases

Yeah, looks like it went quick. One of the more useful aspects of IG stories is following creators who post links you can click through directly from their stories. It’s honestly probably the way I buy half my action figures. That’s how I got these quickly.

I totally missed that 4 pack today. But that's ok. I added the set to "my list" and hopefully I'll catch it later.

Fingers crossed. I have been foolishly getting a lot of these reissues to keep packaged, including vehicles and playsets (as if I have room for that shit). I missed out on an extra Sewer Lair, and haven't seen it come back in quite a while.
 
Toy Fair is this next weekend. Do we think Playmates shows anything? There’s a ton of retro stuff I’d like to see them do, but at the very least I want Android Krang. I never had it as a kid and desperately wanted one.

I really have a hard time seeing them "go out with a bang." Playmates goes the lazy route every other time, them farting themselves to death seems more likely to me.

But, I wouldn't be upset if they DID do the Android body re-release. I'd jump right on that shit.
 
I imagine at Toy Fair they’ll speak to some press agent and for the upteeth time remind us all how great their company was back in 1991. Only this time it will be set against the backdrop of them digging their own graves while using their resumes as headstones
