G.I. Joe Classified - News & Updates

It must be Wild Bill because of the pistols but there was another pilot who looked really similar I think. He flew a weird, piece of shit prop plane that somehow outmanoeuvred a bunch of Cobra fighters in the only story I ever saw him in.
 
And Dogfight flies the Mudfighter, which does have a propeller, but you also made me recall when Maverick flew a prop plane against Firefly in the Vector jet.

Finally looked at them on the computer rather than my phone. I don't want or need the Hydro Viper, and I'm not getting him, but I love how they did his eyes and around his eyes. The Eel is my diver guy and that's that, but I do appreciate when they lean into the science fiction a little like with this guy. I did get the Frag Viper to display with no helmet at least. But that, the diving helmet, his webbed fingers, all real nice and creepy. Airtight really does look awesome and I loved the original figure, but he and Barbecue just don't fit with how I'm collecting these guys. They're both massive temptations though. I will be shocked if his helmet comes off. I never had the Renegades as a kid and didn't get Mercer, so those two are a skip for me. Taurus looks more like a Dreadnok to me than some of the later Dreadnoks. Overkill is really cool looking and the cyborg element is neat but I never had any attachment to him, and the BAT was a stretch for me to get, so that's my line. Zanya I am into and plan to use the masked head, and I was never into that version of Zartan... the only thing tempting me on him is a bow with the arrow drawn. They better include that again with someone else, maybe NF Storm Shadow or someone...
 
So upon closer inspection it looks like they did completely new fins for the Hydro-Viper. I know the consensus when Wet-Suit was released was that his fins would be repurposed for the Hydro-Viper. However looking at the pics of both (I don't have Wet-Suit yet) they are clearly new fins for the Hydro-Viper. The Hydro-Viper fins have scale along the "toes" and look more like claws while Wet-Suit's fins don't have any of that.

Edit: Watching The Full Force Podcast and he says the Classified team has confirmed that Airtight's helmet will be removable.

Edit 2: Someone pointed out, which I missed the first go round, that possibly that leather helmet for Zanya could be repurposed for Daina from the Oktober Guard down the road.

Yeah, I love that there's something... inhuman about them. One of the reasons I like the Hydro-Viper is the vaguely Lovecraftian bit about their lroe.

Thanks for confirming this - my only beef with any character is if they can't remove their helmets (especially because damn, Classified does killer head sculpts, why hide them).

And he (Chris at Full Force) is confirming the silhouette figure is a new character and not Wild Bill. Of course that isn't a 100% guarantee, but his connections to the Classified team lends credence to that idea.

Sometimes that's cool, like the Frag Viper I mentioned, but if they did an unmasked Beach Head head, it's going in the accessory box. Although, to be fair, I have Torpedo with his mask up on top of his head and one hand pulling it down (or up, depending on your outlook). Shit, and Budo isn't wearing a helmet at all because I like his hair. Alright, forget what I said. But if I were to get Airtight, which I'm not, I wouldn't have him displayed with a naked head.

And you just made me realize I have a rule for helmets and a rule for balaclavas. I don't want an unmasked Beachhead or Wreckage or Firefly but I'm still annoyed I don't have an unmasked Barbecue.
 
That is funny. I guess I have no rules. I have Quarrel holding her Steel Brigade helmet because I feel it works as her motorcycle helmet, and it's actually the only SB helmet/head I have displayed, and Grunt is holding his helmet because I like his Ranger haircut.
