Action Force and Valaverse

Black Vanguard still might happen. I think that feels probably more realistic for Frank than the ramen van

I still just can't get past the looks on that one. It seems to have all the functionality, but the lines on it just don't look good to me. The one that was coming from Mezco I feel has more the look I want from a battle wagon, but it also seems a bit... mmm... less thorough on detail (and also pricey as heck).

So far I really like my Ramen Racer and that's the car for Frank on my shelf. I'm still debating getting the armor pack, but it's not quite what I want either. I wonder if Ramen is going to produce any more of those with different styles in mind. If they did one that added some weapons to the exterior I think I'd go for it.

Yeah, the van is classic Punisher, first of all. And the Vanguard is a truly ugly vehicle -and- would not serve as a very displayable armory.

The Ramen Racer does look really cool. I just don't know what on earth I'd ever do with it. Can't think of a single figure I own or want to own that would go with it in my head.

I kept thinking about buying the Racer because it's close enough to the Last of the V8 Interceptors to work, but the lack of a Mad Max figure line in the last 25 years did somewhat limit my incentive to do that. But it's always in the back of my head that I should and then figure out a custom, and also pretend that Mel Gibson mysteriously disappeared after making Beyond Thunderdome. Or just make it a Tom Hardy figure? Probably the better option.

If they wanted to make the Dodge M4S Turbo Interceptor from The Wraith, I would also consider buying that and doing a custom, and then headcanon it that it's someone cooler and weirder and more ethereal under the mask than Charlie Sheen. (Kyle MacLachlan, maybe? That feels right.)

Loving 80s genre stuff is rough sometimes. Thank God for The Hidden.

It doesn't make the most sense, but right now mine's a Punisher car. But I also think that one of these suited guys from OMF will end up there eventually. Especially if they somehow do a "definitely not John Wick" head.
I've looked at that one before. I just don't want to do post processing on a 3d print of that scale. Right now it's either I buy a couple more armory walls from Super Action Stuff, I wait for Vala's, because the render he showed off does seem like it'll be a good armory option if he can get it done, or the option that's the most likely, is I just make my own from soup to nuts.

I haven't seen Vala's.
He showed it off in a panel at a con a while back. Same time he showed of the weight room set with the new female bucks/heads. It was super early development so who knows how the final will look, but it was two walls and a floor, so you had basically one corner of a room. There was a workbench and several gun racks/cabinets as well as a dummy you could put your extra Action Force gear onto. And he wanted the dummy head to be a skull with the same socket size as his other figures so you could swap it onto them.

Like with the weapons and Splinter Cell, an armory is a straight shot through the middle of what Bobby's been best at, so it looked pretty good. He didn't give any dates for it though, so no idea how soon it'll be.
