Seriously. She's a no-brainer. I bet they've waited this long just to give us time to let the OG Doc cook a bit in our collections.
 
Carla would be cool to have. I was never a big Doc fan to begin with - I think I mentioned here or elsewhere that I just was never into the medics. But I think she's a solid variation on the classic Doc to catch my interest and add something different to the, admittedly sausagey, shelf.
 
Medics kinda do it for me.
I think because I read that “Ratchet stands alone against Megatron” arc in the old Marvel Transformers comics, and the idea of a guy who’s not a fighter stuck in crazy, scary situations stuck with me.
 
Doc's always been one of my favorites because I love the idea of the one-pacifist-amongst-warriors vibe. His death in the comics was probably the most upsetting one of the whole run (mostly because it was egregiously senseless), and so Carla's one of the few legacy characters I genuinely like. Though honestly I'd rather have them both, alive, arguing over battlefield medicine as firebats roar overhead...
 
Ah damn, you'd mentioned his death and i assumed it was some IDW bullshit, but no... I had somehow forgotten the SAW Viper's list!
