Operation Monster Force

More like Big Boob Workshop, amIright?

But yeah, that JScott guy is a bit of a sourpuss. Like "maybe there will be enough non-awful parts in this wave to make a single decent figure." At least when I say that exact same stuff it's with respect.

I finally received my first figures from this line, the Eraser and Dr Caligari. Both are serviceable figures, but these joints are tight on these things! I like them well enough for what they are but don't know that I'll be collecting too many more of this line given that the standard is now $40 and up. Whatever happened to that lab slab / torture chamber table that was supposed to be showcased with Caligari? I had designs on it for a Marvel Legends Weapon X lab, and I've heard nothing of it since it was first shown. Did it get scrapped?

I just had this idea while thinking over on the BBWS general thread, you know what they should really do? For OMF they should give us a female agent working with Helsing with a portrait based on Millicent Patrick. Now THAT would be an awesome deep cut, especially if they released her in a wave with their own creature.
I'd be ALL over that!! Give us a Jack Pierce head for one of the male characters and I'd buy that too!

Like, I'm interested in hearing about the lore, but I can't bring myself to listen to three dudes just shoot the shit for an hour and tell jokes only they laugh at in order to get it.

I skimmed through to look at the pictures, though. Obviously I've no interest in a blood Dracula or a blood skeleton or a ghost king, but I was impressed by how much story they had to develop in order to explain why their major has four stars.

They have so much interesting stuff coming out in the future. Why can't we get that instead?

Welp, this pretty much pushed me over the fence to make the trip to neighboring Pennsylvania and Zolocon next month.

It's a weird way to handle a preorder, but I'll play along to snag the Demiworg and may grab the Shadow Wraith. The $40 price tag is tough. I was already liking the Zolocon Mythic Legions and Valaverse exclusives. Just gotta hope the late February weather doesn't get too bad.

And there's always pit stops at Sheetz. Maybe WaWa near Philly?

Will these be available in some quantity on-line or only through Zolocon, do you know please?

I had a chance to open a bunch of Operation Monsterforce figures over the weekend. These are really fun! The plastic feels great, and I like the joint tolerances a lot. Very cool aesthetic on these. I can see the appeal of going all-in on these. The soft plastic on the jackets and coats is really nice.
