Marvel just gave Rogue a new Savage Land comic called Rogue: The Savage Land. Despite prior speculation that the costume is too risque, they're clearly happy to market it in 2025.

I tried it, and like most modern comics, for me it was just "meh".

I've called for a Savage Land Rogue figure in the past, pointing out ML Angela from the GOTG wave, and would get promptly shut down, being told that the times are a-changing and that Angela was pre #metoo. "Forget about it", they told me. I guess the times are a-changing again. May as well do slave Leia too.

They could, but why would they need a different body? This one already has the belly button sculpted in.

Ah. I didn't notice that. It is almost non existant. I suppose that waist piece would indeed be reuse. I see how it is. Ka-zar gets the nipples, and Shanna gets the almost navel. Can't have both on either I guess.

I'd be surprised if they released her with Zabu since he just got released. That'd be a bold move even for Hasbro.

Sauron seems very likely. If it's a larger set I'll take any and every other Savage Land character they care to make - would love to get some of the Savage Land mutates.

I'll be pretty unhappy if I have to rebuy Sauron to get Shanna. I'm fine with them re-releasing BAFs for people that missed out but I am not at all fine with them making me buy them again to get a wanted character like Shanna.

I'd be annoyed at buying Zabu again to get Shanna but not if they re-released him. I did just help a friend in Sweden find a missing leg on American eBay for his Zabu and I'd be annoyed if I went through the trouble of trying to figure out how to label "plastic sabertooth tiger leg" on the customs paperwork only to have the figure re-release this soon.

Hoping not a two-pack with Sauron because, I swear to you, my Sauron has never found a comfortable home in my collection. There is literally no figure in my Legends or even my greater action figure collection who has more often been moved around, reshuffled, re-boxed, hung from string... I just cannot find a home for that dude I'm happy with. He's right now ON TOP of the X-Men boxes who are not on display.

I'd take Petrified Man. Especially if they used a good matte grey charcoal like plastic

Like Shanna, Savage Land Rogue won't be a 1:1 recreation of a comic book panel. A lot of what's here will be deemed "close enough" by Hasbro. They won't reuse the entire figure, but I bet that top gets reused and just painted yellow and green. They might even keep the boots even though they aren't exact. We'll just have to wait and see.

I was also thinking about Dwight's Barbarus reference from a stream earlier this year. It seemed very pointed at the time, and he's too deep of a cut for Dwight to just randomly think of. Spiral is one of the best figures they've made in years, so hopefully they capture some of that same magic with him (and the inevitable Forearm repaint).
