Jakks World of Nintendo

Picked up the new 4" Chain Chomp today.

He's a TINY bit bigger than the 2.5" version. The peg he's attached to has a suction cup on the bottom that. He finally has a little flat spot on the bottom so he has a place to rest and isn't rolling all over. Unfortunately though his jaw joint has absolutely zero friction to it and can't remain open while he's resting on the flat spot.

Two steps forward, one step back

I feel like I haven't seen too many new ones around. I only passively collect the line, but I feel I've only seen the same few since just before September.

I still look for Birdo every time I'm out. But all I ever find are tons of Mario.

Same. I check every time, but I'm not hopeful. Not the end of the world if I never find her. This line is running on fumes as far as I'm concerned. It's a little bonus purchase when I can't find anything else to buy. But I have no intention of this line becoming a chore. I just hope they make Roy and Morton before calling it quits.

Yep, they better do Roy and Morton and finish those Koopa Kids. It would just flat out suck if they didn't. I do hope I can find Birdo though. I feel like I probably have a better shot of finding her at GameStop then Wal-Mart. But as of now, nothing.

I know they can't do it, but man I wish we could get Mouser and Big Boss Wart from Mario 2. That would be incredible.

That's part why I can live without Birdo; we don't have many other characters from that game. Do we have ANY? Are the Shy Guys part of that game?

Yeah, Shy Guys are from SMB2. Also Bob Ombs first appearance.

I keep hoping that with Ninji's reemergence in the Mario Party series, he might be on the table.

At this point I associate Birdo much more with the spin off titles like Kart, Tennis, and Party.

If you really want Wart and some other SMB2 villains, there's always 3D printing. Which is also what I keep telling myself if Jakks never does Roy or Morton.
