Action Force and Valaverse

Is it weird that, to me, the first post just sent off like "This isn't Bobby behind the curtain, don't look there" vibes? I mean, I don't have anything against the guy, but that just seems a little suspect. And if you aren't Bobby and are still reading the thread, you sounded like Bobby, or one of his sidekicks. So, maybe introspection could help? I'm not trying to stir anything. Just trying to be helpful.

Honestly I have no idea anyone's name behind most of the things I buy. And I don't pay attention to their personal life. Everyone's a cunt at some point in their life for 1 reason or another. Shit happens. Just don't defend the bad shit yea? Only reason I know Bobby is cause his name is all over his stuff. If it wasn't, I'd have no clue, and care even less lol.

And Valas figures are mediocre at best. There are a few that are good. But as a whole, GI Joe figures are much more fun. There hasn't been a Joe I bought I didn't like. And the ones I don't own that I've seen look really good. Valas stuff is kinda bland, most of which I have never even considered buying. But hes on point with those guns. Pistols could be thicker, but I don't use most of those.

I would be tempted to get the Splinter Cell figures he announced, if he actually produced them. I can't imagine anyone else producing that license outside of these figures. Again, if he actually does them.

I just certainly wouldn't order them direct, I'd get them from somewhere that already paid him to carry the shit, so I wouldn't feel nearly as dirty about having them.
 
Splinter Cell adjacent - I'd be sore-tempted if Bobby got the license to do actual Ghost Recon figures. One of my favorite games series' of all time.
But also it's Bobby, so even the most minor imperfection would make them an easy pass because I'm pre-disposed to not want to ever touch anything he has ever worked on. But if anything in his wheelhouse would ever have a chance of tempting me, it would be Ghost Recon.

Remember a few pages back that other carpetbagger came on the thread? I somewhat wonder if this new person wasn't following them around. Feels very much like folks dropping by here to correct the record in a fight they think we're all invested in.

I would unironically buy a Sam Fisher figure, though, if he did produce one. Haven't played that game in ages, but those sort of militaristic stealth games are the closest I've felt to being a straight white male in a long time. Had my southern accent coming out in a growl by level 3.

I've played a few of the games but the only one I finished was Conviction. The co-op on that one was SO MUCH fun. My ex and I played through it and had a blast. We'd do little countdowns before we simultaneously shot out lights.
 
Like if you have a stubborn dad who pretends he didn't hear the first time? Or he's absent minded and keeps forgetting so you have to do it again every few months?
