(Also I know Alden caught so much shit for his performance but with the increase in deepfaking rubbery illusions onto people to drag actors back to their youth, I actually appreciate a strong recast more now than I did then.)

Those are the things I don't like about it - and I enjoy the film.

Alden just doesn't have swagger like Harrison so he never feels like Han to me. His hair is also just so different that he doesn't look right looking like Harrison. And I really wish they had made his white/blue prologue outfit his actual outfit - some pizzazz would have been nice.

The only thread of this Star Wars Story I want to revisit is Q'ira. And I want TBS to do her main outfit and Alden's prologue outfit - hate that the figures they made mismatch. Then we've got everything we need from this entry.

Like I said, it was just a rumor. Take anything you read from fan sites with a grain of salt. I also think it would be odd for them to bring him in without an introduction, most people wouldn't know who he is. Probably someone heard something about Sam being in Ahsoka and just went straight fan fiction with it. If he was on set, he could've been there for a bunch of different reasons. He is also Maul after all (hey that rhymed). And I never saw any proof he was on set. Like a rumor from a rumor lol. The Baylen thing makes way more sense.

I liked Solo. I thought it was fun. And I really liked the casting choices. Lando was my favorite surprise. I think that casting was perfect. I liked it alot better then VIII and IX.

In terms of Black Series, even as someone who liked Solo, that Q'ira is literally the only figure I want from the film we never got. I actually think they did, in one of those rare times, the exact right amount of toy tie-ins for Solo. (Skeleton Crew also pretty much accomplished this. One wave and done, boom.)
 
Nah. I would like more pirates and would take the Owl like Astronomer from Skeleton Crew and I definitely want Heist Qi’ra from Solo. If they do Young Han I want the M-68. I’d want Warrick’s Weazel too. While we’re at it bring on Warrick’s big mouth U-Wing gunner alien, more Sal’s men like Two Tubes. Then go make stinking Nien Nunb already!

Thrilled. Very thrilled about Watto! The Geonosian bug guys are great too. I’ll pick up a few along the way to make up a squad eventually. Scale up Poggle in 2027 for Fan Channel wave? I’m actually pretty thrilled about characters selection lately.

Loved the Solo movie. It deserved to do better. I bought all the figures, too. They were great.

Finally! got Book of Boba Fett Boba! Love him. Took Hasbro long enough! I watched Robo’s review and learned that you are supposed to rotate his boots all the way around to get them in the correct position.

Also just got the new Jango Fett, and he’s fantastic. I’ve always loved the color scheme of his armor and suit. Finally we get a nicely proportioned and decently articulated version of Jango.

The new Starkiller looks amazing! I’m not familiar with the design but I love it already.

I was doing summer work for a law firm representing Lucasfilm in 1999, and my specific job was hanging out “undercover” in Star Wars chat rooms to ferret out folks who were pirating The Phantom Menace. I got to watch all these creeps do the “countdown to Natalie Portman turning 18” 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 and also I served a guy with a cease and desist in the chat, and his response was “SUCKEE MY WOOKIEE!”
The lawyers loved that one.

Ugh, I knew a guy in person doing that countdown and gave him hell over it. Same dipshit who laments when an attractive celebrity he'll never EVER cross paths with is getting married. Yeah, your chances really dropped.
 
Got Boba in last night. The toe joint was popped out on one side, so gotta pop that back in. Other than that, I really like him. Especially once you do all the necessary fixes- removing the piece inside the helmet especially, but also popping out the shoulder joints a little bit like Robo showed in his video- he becomes a better figure. Can't speak for accuracy in terms of costume- that all is beyond me, but he's a darn good looking figure for what he is!

Jango is due to arrive today, so I'll finally be all caught up.
