Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

"due to an inventory issue" oh let me guess, Walmart, you put every single one of them on a shelf in one Walmart in Topeka Kansas and you can't find any to ship to the preorders, right?

I'm kinda halfway checked out on MOTU at the moment so I'm more mad that Walmart is fucking awful than I am not getting ANOTHER MAA figure.

How about we determine this BEFORE soliciting? Also, how are you the only ones doing this?

Yes, it's only 3 bucks, but 3 bucks times 3 figures and now this is almost 9 bucks more than I budgeted for and that shit adds up.

Nerdzoic, arguably a smaller, newer company, doesn't and they just got Adora in stock for 23.99.

I ordered x2 of Adora and Keldor and 1 of Dragstor. So, that's $15 extra bucks for me before tax. I don't blame BBTS, I'm sure it's all a mess. But Hell, what do I know. Maybe I should blame them a little. Like you said, others don't do it. But my experience over 20 years with BBTS has been nothing but good. They seem like good people. So, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I'm excited this Wave is about to ship. This is an odd, but really cool Wave.
 
Latest wave just showed up courtesy of entertainment earth. This is a good wave but a weird wave. Keldor is much cooler in-hand than anticipated, and his Skeletor-ing head is truly gruesome. He’s . . . kinda sexy? Despera/Adora is neat, definitely looks better with the helmet than the mask. The Adora head looks *exactly* like early-90s Helen Hunt, to the point where it feels intentional. Dragstor is a freaky-deaky guy, definitely evokes the Wheelers from Return to Oz and is generally just bananas and tons of fun. He’s definitely my favorite in the wave, and the New Etheria Horde is gunning to be the coolest subline in Masterverse.
 
I don’t find any of the newest wave appealing. Have never been interested in Keldor and/or Skeleton having an origin.

My local WM got in a couple of Faker. Hadnt seen any Masterverse there for many months. So maybe theyll finally start stocking the line again.

My friend was on vacation and found an AE He-Man for me. Havent gotten him in hand yet. But based upon pics of him, I dont like his black being shiny. would prefer a flat black. like he’s absorbing light and goodness. will see how i feel once i have him.

intrigued to see if Masterverse continues this year. I would assume we’d be getting new movie stuff in Origins and Masterverse but those supposed leaks seemed to imply Masterverse was ending. but maybe some wires were crossed with that leak.
 
I just hit ship on my POL with Anti-Eternia He-Man in it, so if anyone has anything you're waiting for to arrive in your POL it'll show up tomorrow. I fully expect a processing email for Adora and a few others tomorrow morning. (I swear I just hit ship to jog loose three or four figures I keep expecting to drop that haven't, because the shipping gods always know when one of us ships a POL incomplete...)

Yep, happens every time. I got the "pre-order processing soon" email for Adora and Dragstor a couple of days ago so you probably personally guaranteed that they still hit yet today or tomorrow. LOL

Yeah, this is why I like to post when I hit ship, because I feel like one of us sometimes takes the hit for everyone else's loot to arrive. I'm just taking my turn this month :)

You know how Target has shopping carts filled with random items to filter back to the pegs and shelves? I spotted something nice on the top of a cart as I was leaving the toy aisle, Anti-Eternia He-Man...and he scanned at $11.99. I rummaged through the cart and pulled Mosquitor, but came up empty on a Mantenna. Never saw these guys in a store prior to today. I think AE He-Man would've got me at regular price had I seen him.

Now for the bad. AE He-Man has a stuck solid shoulder that doesn't rotate. This may leave him permanently carrying his shield at his side, haven't tried heat yet.

I love this list, but I don't know if I personally need everything on it. Especially some of the lesser known characters that didn't have figures in the vintage line. I'm pretty happy with how Classics filled those gaps. Not that I mix Masterverse and Classics, but I can't be buying EVERY character over again in different scales/collections. It's a lot.

That said, there are definitely some favorite designs I'd love to see again in Masterverse. Scorpia, Modulok, a Marlena that doesn't have a transformation that forces her into a bulky dress, Lizard Man, Hawk or Delora (any female Avian), Swift Wind, Sea Hawk, Shokoti.
