oh no, not the "innocent" Christians. The tweet about Epstein is projection to a comedic degree, to the point where it reads like satire. But I guess that's nothing new. He basically admitted to all the parts, "sleazebag who loved Epstein, gave him money, shared our taste in children...BUT I dropped him as a BFF before it was cool!"
 
I dreamed last night that I created a TV quiz show where all the contestants are MAGA aligned. They kept getting all the answers wrong because of all the lies they accept as truth.

While I've been cleaning the apartment and doing art stuff today I've been listening to Warhammer 40k lore videos (I've never played any sort of Warhammer, just appreciated its goofy excess from afar). And then I step back in to look at politics stuff and there is no membrane anymore between this over the top parody of Baroque fascist death cults and our actual government except that not a one of these reptilian fuckers has the common courtesy to physically weld their bodies painfully into giant war machines for the rest of their lives.

The best any of them do is wear untailored suits in one of three colors while passing around the same tie anytime one of them needs to do a press conference.

It was a very sad day for me when I realized our actual planet has eclipsed all parody. Like when you see an Onion headline and don't realize it's The Onion for like... a really long few moments. And let me say, as a pretty big Warhammer 40k fan, we have definitely reached the point where the kind of stuff that exists in that universe doesn't feel as completely wild and far-fetched as it used to. Even the background lore of mankind reaching a technological revolution with AI that we then have to fight and it almost utterly destroys us went from a 1980s Terminator fantasy land of 'could never really happen' to 'oh, it's basically happening right now.'
 
I wouldn't respond to any demands from the Kennedy Center.

I don't even know what that is.

I only recognize the Trump Kennedy Center in a case where they demand money.

I've long felt it was VERY telling that everyone on the right refers to anything anyone does in response to Trump as a 'political stunt.' They literally do not believe anyone can JUST have actual principles and do things based on their ethics, because THEY do not have principles or ethics. If -THEY- were doing something like this, it would literally be a political stunt, and they cannot fathom a world where anyone else isn't doing it with the same heart and mind as they have.
