Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

I'm in the same spot with Anubis. I want a mythology shelf, but it's 90% Greek mythology. At that point, is it even worth it to have an Anubis or Odin?
There was a lot of cultural crossover between the Egyptian and Greek pantheons during the Hellenistic period. Hermanubis, Serapis, Zeus-Ammon, and Dionysus-Osiris were all big under the Ptolemaic Dynasty.

Odin might be a stretch unless you have a big imagination.

I gotta say, Rising Sons might be the wave I've most hotly anticipated longest (though their other wintery set got me even more amped). I'm usually very 'it'll get here when it gets here" with Legions but this wave is one I check in on all the time cos I'm looking forward to it so much.

I think I have the bear and the moo-cow from that wave on order. And the weapon pack. I keep buying weapon packs to kit out the Gothitropolis birds.

Been dragging my feet ordering stuff from this latest wave cos there's 3-4 figures I THINK I want but I'm not sold on (I definitely want about half the wave and plan on preordering those). The old "do I want to pay now and wait or pay more later with BBTS and still wait" game.)

Glad they showed off the size comparison of the crab dude. I think I'd be more tempted if he were ogre-sized but that dude's like the size of a football.

Also shoutout to the D&D gang tonight for the best crossover joke ever comparing a bizarre gathering of fey creatures to a wave of Mythic Legions, gonna be laughing at that for weeks.

I think I want Not Achilles. I might use him as Not Odysseus instead.

If I'm only ordering one figure, is it cheaper to do so through BBTS?
For one figure, probably about the same. You'll pay less for shipping but more for the figure and based on past prices, those will be within like, a dollar or two of each other.

Meanwhile I'm over here debating breaking up my order between 4H and BBTS because I actually love this wave but there's 3-4 figure I'm iffy on preordering.

Just put my order in, went with my must-haves and will let fate decide with BBTS or in-stock for the others. But for real though, WTF is wrong with their checkout/POS system? It re-added the mouse king I bought weeks ago into my order even though I kept removing it, like, four times, then DUPLICATED My order, then when I went back to delete a figure it deleted the WRONG character and I only caught it because of the price difference. It's definitely on their end, too, because Savage Crucible and even Mattel Creations use the same checkout application and I've never run into this, only 4H. Feels like it's probably a fixable problem but they don't have the tech staff/know-how to do it.

I've also had the same problem with their POS system for awhile. Every time I go to checkout, it adds a figure to my cart that I bought years ago and I have to delete it before I can proceed, but I usually only have to delete the extra figure a single time. It might be a problem on 4H's end, or it's entirely possible 4H has uncovered a bug in Shopify's POS system and not even Shopify knows how to fix it.

My works uses Monday.com as our project management platform and their sub-item functions have never worked correctly for us. We've contacted Monday about it multiple times and after the last ticket we submitted, they basically admitted they see the problem, but they don't currently know how to fix it and it isn't enough of a priority to really invest in a solution.

This anecdote is my way of saying huge, multi-million dollar software companies can still have buggy code they don't know how or don't care to fix.

I had that issue when I recently grabbed the Mouse King while he was still in stock last week. I had to remove the skeleton 4 pack I had previously gotten and 2 other items that were bought in previous orders.
