Y'know, I'd pick on the lack of creativity or something but after three years of AI nonsense someone posing a figure like a video game cover and taking a decent photo with their human hands and eyeballs actually makes me happy.

That's a good point and yeah, seems like you might be right. Probably won't be ideal for a lot of folks, but I appreciate the attempt to give us some more value for the price. Still interested to see what comes out of this line.

This is all over the instagram post for it and yeah, I see it too. I think that works though.

Also, I just noticed it's slated for Q2 2026. So not a year+ out like some BBWS solicits. Nice!

Thanks. I just looked up the IG post after your reply. Someone on there said it could be used to make a Joe Colton. I can see using that one General head to make the GI Joe Adventure Team Commander. Might have to pick up 2 of them.

I wonder if they’ll make the next agent head sculpt have bangs and a bandana to cover the top of his (pointed :)) ears
 
I just noticed the listing for the Agent of Omega figure states it will have an alternate portrait. I am wondering if that will be another Joe Colton head and BBTS was just shy to show it.
 
From BBWS's Facebook reels, something more like a packaging contents shot. Still no view of the alternate head they listed, but at least an idea of the map and golden dagger.

To be honest, this doesn't scratch my Adventure Team itch like I want it to. With my old AT dolls, it was all about the gear. The map is cool, but Adventure means a canteen and rucksack and coiled rope. Some binoculars and a flashlight/ lantern/torch. A pith helmet. I'd even rather a bolt action hunting rifle than an AR.

It's cool that they're including things like a giant snake, but they've picked an awkward head angle for it to be stuck in forever.

All-told, those are some really cool photos, but imagining it in-hand doesn't excite me. I'm also not inspired by a new line announced with a single figure. Even a small wave would give me a better idea of what the line's about. I bet I'd feel more enthusiastic if there were also, like, a daring pilot and a crusty riverboat captain. And maybe a competing team of evil treasure hunters.

Thanks for posting that pic, Fletch. I was looking for something like this in the BBTS listing. And you're right about the gear, I'd trade the awkward snake for better adventure gear.

I wonder if the second head is the first head in camo makeup to match the set of camo hands.

Yes, Shatner, just after the end of Trek starred in a jungle adventure movie but was shelved by the studio, never to be released..........until now.
 
Aww man I don’t want to think of any of my toys looking like Shatner.
