I'm just happy these are real, as I never was 100% convinced we'd see them given the price point relative to accessories. Hope the quality is there, they fit well with the Art Asylum/DST stuff, and the line lasts a long time...

And who wouldn't?
 
I just hope they get to that Wave 3. So far that's all that I'm interested in. I just want the main characters, personally - which is basically that whole wave. I'd likely buy the main cast from Next Generation as well, so hopefully they do that similarly at some point. I'm not enough of a Trekkie to know the others and have never watched any of the other spinoff shows other than TNG.

Seems like there is more to this than rumors. A second company has posted that their renewal was a 2000% increase. This was also reposted by Nanjin Tam of EXO-6. However, note that they talk about "minimum royalty commissions", so maybe this is just something impacting smaller licensees. Not sure.... Either way, anyone with a license in place is probably good until they are up for renewal.

I think it's supposed to make you humble and grateful and giving. I would never presume that you'd want my cookie recipe, but if you all are going to badger me about it, I can take time out of my busy day to give it to you because I'm so nice.

I prefer the neurodivergent way of just content dumping something and going "IDK felt like it".
 
I wish these would have been closer to 6 inches and not 7 inches. I would bought every one of them projected to be made.

That realization put full breaks on my interest. On the one hand, there are so many characters that I would want, that the space taken up by a 7" figure vs. a 6" really adds up.

But on the same hand, I like my figures to be able to stand together. Not all 1/12 is the same, but I can at least have Han Solo, Blue Senturion, and Silver Surfer hanging out. Sure be neat if Ahura could join in.

I'm still waiting to see some in hand to decide if I can't resist, though.
 
Got notice from BBTS that the 09 Pike is due to hit my POL soon. Cancelled the order, though. Too bummed that all we're getting is a bunch of white dudes (and one Asian) in various colored shirts. I know that's technically most action figures, but still. Sometimes we get aliens in shirts too.
