Action Force and Valaverse

Finishing the stream (its 3 hours) and there's a few line updates at the end:

*His tactical boat is arriving in the fall
*Gear Tin should be early january and around $80 (with a figure)
*Swarm figures coming on updated body
*Wave 1 of Action Force 1944 as of now will have a us ranger type figure, a us paratrooper, British soldier, and a german soldier
*Wave 2 will introduce Russian and Japanese soldiers as well as additional us soldiers and a desert rat
*Teased a P52 Mustang potentially coming to Action Force 1944
Whoa he actually put toy news in that thing?

Ok, well, interesting he's planning to do a historical plane. The P52 could conceivably be done almost to scale without much compression. It would be about 3' in length and width at true 1/12, but you could probably trim it down to the dimensions of the Rattler without it being terribly noticeable. And if you're going for classic WWII stuff, Mustang's pretty classic.

Surprised the boat is going to take a whole 9+ more months to get done.

What a weird place to reveal all that.
I -imagine- that at some point in this 3 hour marathon of lies and stupidity, I may actually get fed up with listening to him whinging.
You have a wellspring of patience for this sort of stuff that I can only dream of. We thank you for your service.

I would take Damien’s summary with a grain of salt. It’s definitely an interpretation of what’s being said in the video or the texts and emails shown being played for laughs and outrage.

I watched enough of it that the impressions I have of Bobby from multiple years of his online presence were not in any way shifted. It does seem to me like he, as has been his habit, habitually takes things personally and has no ability to disengage.

I am perfectly happy letting the court decide who was "right". I hope the lawyers got well paid. Why this should interest anyone else is beyond me. Is the audience at Hisstank THAT powerful to Bobby's sales numbers? Is this video going to shift any of those viewpoints? Was it made for anyone but the most terminally online people?

Like, again, I'd rather talk about just the product. I wish Bobby would do the same. He has the chops to let his work speak for itself. He should consider doing that.

Before the subject changes, can someone explain to me who exactly Kenny is? A random message board poster or YouTuber? Sounds like he's a toy store manager, not sure if that means he's not even the owner. From the deposition, he has a Master's Degree, but he couldn't quite answer in what field.

I thought the weirdest finding was the relatively large group of people text messaging each other about Bobby. Mark Webber, former brand manager at Hasbro and current Vala employee, even got indirectly tied into that. He was on a podcast that he had to quit because the texts revealed the show's host said something about Bobby "blowing" someone. I'm using a euphemism there, can't remember exactly how he put it. Some very teenage gossip girl shit going on in Joe fandom

I 100% admit that I am taking the piss out of Bobby with this, largely for fun (and profit, as I am being paid by Hasbro). But I actually defy anyone to point out where my interpretation of events is -incorrect-. And, to be fair, I am trying to remember to mention rough timestamps so everyone can listen for themselves rather than trusting me as the definitive source. I invite everyone to hear it all from Bobby directly and decide for themselves if their reactions are similar to my own.

You would think the amount of people talking shit about Bobby behind his back might give Bobby some pause for self-reflection. MAYBE if this many people find you so distasteful that they have to talk about it privately, there's something to some of their complaints. Yes? I'm not sure Vala is capable of that kind of introspection, though.

As for who Kenny is -- there was mention of him saying he wanted to carry Vala's products at one point, right? So I'm guessing he runs a small toy store - probably more 'booth at conventions' than 'store.' But I'm not entirely sure.

@Damien I was wondering if Kenny was possibly a mod or even the owner of hisstank.com. I've never heard of him as of store owner. He's never popped up in my YouTube feed. Seems like Bobby brought way more attention to Kenny than necessary.

I definitely don't think he owns HissTank. Pretty sure he almost got banned from there or something because of all this. I couldn't tell you if he's a mod, but I'd be surprised.

The thing about Damien is that his insufferableness grows slowly over time, and then he'll say something so self-aware that the clock resets.
