If she runs, she's going to get trounced in the primary. Losing to Trump is radioactive to Democrats. Thinking of election night 2024 is enough to put me in the fetal position. Thinking of election night 2016 is enough to put me in the psych ward. Even if voters liked her ideas (they don't), they wouldn't accept her.
I read this a little over a week ago. I may have shared it here already. It's one of those ideas that unlocked something in my brain.

Assuming they primary her. That's the problem with these being basically private institutions that don't actually answer to the American people; they can just choose not to. They can say 'she is our candidate, get behind her or you hate America.' Like they did when Biden stepped down. Like they did BEFORE Biden stepped down, to be fair.
The Biden thing was unprecedented. Honestly, if they were insistent about removing Biden, I would've done the same thing. There wasn't time for an open primary because Biden ignored all the signs that he would lose.
I don't know how many Democrats could've beaten Trump last year. Sometimes the environment is the environment.
