JFC Toys RoboCop: The Villains of Old Detroit 7-inch figures

While I don't need these figures, I can't deny that they look pretty great.

I may get Red Foreman to hang out with Robocop. I don't even recognize the rest, I guess it has been a long time since I've seen a Robocop movie.

I'd love to add these to my collection for Robo to face off with, but not at that price.

Almost $70 apiece for a non import figure from a company I have no experience with is a pass for me.

I hope they do well though, and if they last in stock, and eventually go on sale, I'll grab at least "Red" to pair with Robo.

It feels like this company exists entirely to make these five figures. As such, I get the price. All those likeness and tooling costs and I assume a pretty low production run. It's pretty niche. But I'm not interested enough in the characters to pay it.

I love the first RoboCop movie, but I imagine that $70 per henchman is a non-starter for most collectors. I understand why they cost what they do, but it feels like this company didn't put a lot of thought into their business model. The face sculpts are all great, but I feel like they really botched the paint jobs on Kurtwood Smith and Ray Wise.

I went in for 'em.

I love the idea of a NECA compatible company willing to do the characters NECA won't.
