Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

I’m not at all mad about this re-release of the Amazing figure without an unmasked head since it works as an evergreen readily available Spiderman that anybody can pick up and start with if they’re new. Good execution of the costume design and a far better figure than the Tom Holland variations that have all been released too many times.

I don’t need or want it but I like that it’s going to be on pegs for those who do.

The evergreen releases have been hit/miss for me, but as a completest - that should be the case. I bought the Iron Spider Infinity War release because it came with 2 fists, which I don't think we got for that costume before. I also ended up getting the Endgame Cap because the head was done closer to more modern figures and is among the best Evans releases. I like this one because the Andrew Spidey is great and this is very different coloring.

As I've said many times before, I don't collect MCU. Just no space. But damn if Legends doesn't kill it for movie figures. This wave is really calling on me, though. I loved the movie and these just look amazing. Maybe just a 1 movie subline for me?

Are both of Dafne's head sculpts the same, but with different hair? If not, they are so similar, they should have gone with an angry/more expressive look for the 2nd one.

I'm all for that, and don't want to deter anyone from getting something that would bring them joy, BUT... you know it's a slippery slope. Every Star Wars collection I've had since 1994 started with "I'll just get Boba Fett."

Believe me, that is my biggest hesitation.

Well dang - I got more than I expected from my D&W want list!

Cassandra looks exactly as hoped - and I love the accessory! Wonder if Macfadyen had likeness approval on that. That's a really cool idea they pulled there.

Blade and Laura look great though he has a very short torso which may be accurate?

It makes me sad that Cowboypool got so much unique sculpting when so many other entire characters get shortchanged. The spinning gun is cool but did this guy do *anything* worth being an action figure? All the budget on him could have just gone to putting Dogpool with Deadpool in the wave.

Same with Brown Wolverine - this costume had 30 seconds of screentime *if that* and gets an entirely new sculpt? Least he has swivel chest. Kinda sucks that two Wolverines are in one wave.

So for another wave?! we still have in play:
Elektra (my most wanted, naturally)
Gambit
Peterpool
Kidpool
B-15
Nicepool - though with the guns and dog coming, we all know this isn't happening
Ladypool - same
Pyro
Human Torch
Sabretooth

Oh, I forgot - Hasbro really missed a fun beat by not including a comic Cassandra Nova head in with the latest Mystique. But Emma is way, way better so two of her is fine. And I can finally undo my Indiana Jones/Moonstone/Doc Ock combo. :)

I'll pick up X-23 for sure even though the same two facial expressions (bored and bored) is disappointing. One needed to be snarling.

I don't know if the few seconds of screen time warrants me getting a brown suit Wolverine. (Are they really offering us a "mask-down" accessory, a swappable flesh tone neck accessory.........and NO unmasked head to go with them????? ReallY?)

That Nova fingers-in-the-face accessory is pretty wild. I mean....his head was attached to his actual body in the movie....but still....

Reynolds head still MIA.
