That game by the Stars last night was incredible! They finally led for more than a minute and never looked back. Hard to believe they are up 3-2 after only dominating one game.

The west is brutal by the way. All four series were tied at 2-2 yesterday.

I bet the following fans are in panic mode right now. Jets and Kings blowing series leads again.
 
I know the Avs fans were extremely salty about Jamie Benn's bit of embellishment. I'm hoping the Stars finish off the Avs and don't need a game 7 but I think ultimately we end up at 7 games.
 
Wow! I went 7-1 in the opening round and nailed 3 of the western series exactly.
Let's see if I can keep it up. :p

Round 2 predictions:

Panthers over the Maple Leafs in 6.
Hurricanes over the Capitals in 6.
Golden Knights over the Oilers in 7.
Stars over the Jets in 7.

Playoffs continue tonight!
 
Mikko has been going absolutely off lately. Two hat tricks in two games? The Stars would not have made it to the second round if that trade hadn't happened.

I would love to see the Golden Knights not make it to the next round but it causes me physical anguish to cheer for the Oilers so I remain neutral on that one.
 
I have my fingers crossed for one of the Canadian teams this year. Maybe this is the year the Leafs stop underachieving.

Mikko has been playing some of the best hockey of his career. Absolutely the best pick up by any team at the deadline.
I've never really liked the Oilers, so it's hard to root for them. Thought they were beat up and tired from the run last year. But they seem highly motivated so far and just might make it back to the Finals. But I really hope not.
 
Well I was right about the Leafs dropping one at home to the Panthers, just a few games late. What an uninspired performance by Toronto in a pivotal game 5. I know the Panthers are good but wow. Just a lethargic and feeble team effort from the Maple Leafs. Something is not right there. Leafs fans must be ready to jump off the edge right now.

Really hope Dallas closes out Winnipeg tonight. I need someone to root for against the Oil. Not a fan of the Slick. Really amazing how Dallas has managed to get this far without arguably their best offensive and defensive stars for the majority of the games. Robertson and Heiskanen are clearly not 100% yet they keep winning.

Carolina probably closes out Washington as well. The Caps don't seem to have any answers for the Hurricanes speed and consistent pressure all over the ice.

Very surprised the Golden Knights lost in 5. But as a Sharks fan, I can live with it :p
