Third Party Figures

I received fun girl yesterday and opened it this morning. It’s a very nice figure… though the pegs on everything are a hair to tight so get ready to get out the hair dryer.

I thought my wife would roll her eyes at it because she’s basically naked but she like the eye of dressing action figures because she was a big into barbie lol

If it didn't have a cloth costume in between the base body and the armor, I'd be in.

I got Hasuki sister friede in yesterday and opened her up.

- the soft goods are incredibly well done.
- I don’t like the underlying figure very much, the articulation at the hips is really limited. I was hoping to throw her into my display for the holidays sitting down, but that will not be possible, she doesn’t have enough forward range

I considered picking this up for the Weeb of it all.

Can you go in depth on the figure articulation?

It’s mostly the hip articulation I don’t like, her legs just don’t really kick forward far enough for me. She’s got like a leg that’s on a ball joint at the thigh but with no thigh cut, there’s a little bit of rotation there on the ball but no drop down. So her bottom half kind of hinders the leg kicking forward.

It’s sort of like a snail shell bunny girl like set up, where the bottom half of the torso is solid so all the rotation is at the chest torso.

It’s not terrible just comparing it to like a Roman key body, it’s disappointing.

The clothes are very well done though

Agree. Was telling someone Jessica feels like a 4k resolution figure across the board in execution, but Quinn Lee is a 4k body with a 720p face. If they could tighten that up for the upcomingNot Cammy on the back of the box, would be cool.

Also the eyes don't move around as much as other figures I have with movable eyes.

But the articulation and the paint on the body, and the wealth of accessories with effects in the stand and hands and then the expansion kit still secure it for me.

I'll pick up the blank with the matching skin tone just so I have another body to use some of these parts and the alt head.
