I don't like her name. It's not reflective of her appearance. Her costume is green, hair is red-orange/magenta. Crimson and Asp are already used within Cobra. She's not affiliated with the Crimson Guard. The ASP is that mobile gunner station with the large twin cannons. I just think they should have been more creative with her name. There are so many other snakes to choose from if that's the direction they wanted to go.

Maybe the crimson is one of those opposite kinda nicknames. Like how Storm Shadow wears all white, so he's the opposite of a shadow. The Crimson twins are mostly blue!
As far as sharing a name with a vehicle, tell that to the Vipers. Or Ferrets.
Is there a vehicle called a Viper? And a character called a Ferret? My knowledge doesn’t go that deep.

Yes, the Viper was the hang-glider that came out in 1983 with a Cobra Trooper painted like the Cobra Officer, and Ferret was the name of Destro's driver for the D.E.M.O.N., the Iron Grenadier tank.

First costume preferred because it is more unique: we’ve got A LOT of Cobra ladies in skintight stuff, Knox’s blouse is cool.
That said: while I dig Knox I *really* want Dr Biggles-Jones!
She actually kinda looks like a doctor!! Also: “Biggles-Jones” is a fucking hilarious name that has consistently made me chuckle every time I think about it since the 90s.
Also she’ll make you Transformers “shared universe” guys happy.

It's such a Python kinda name. Biggles was a name they frequently used, including even the member of the Spanish Inquisition, Cardinal Biggles, who was played by Terry Jones.
