Nah. They made them simultaneously before. Two totally different markets.

I’m trying to not let myself get too excited with hopes that they’ll be making NEW figures in addition to rereleasing the old ones, but a better Peach, Wario, and Donkey Kong would be amazing. Although now I’m afraid DK would have to be his new Bananza model.
 
I bought so many of those Figuarts Mario sets when Hastings was going out of business. Still have them mixed in with my Jakks stuff. Maybe Figuarts will make us a Birdo, Roy, and Morton!

...I'm not holding my breath.
 
Wow I hadn't heard until I saw your post. Awesome to check off one of the big 3 remaining wants of mine for this line. Now do Morton and Roy Jakks!

Look who I snagged off of BBTS!

She's everything you'd expect. Looks great, poses on par with other Jakks offerings. I painted up an extra Yoshi egg to give her which I'm pretty happy with.

Gave her a couple coats of matte spray, but may go back in with more to take out that glare in her mouth.
 
She was on extremely shortly. I saw an IG post 3 days after they initially had her and was pretty bummed. But I kept the page open on the extremely off chance that they'd have any more. Monday morning I happened to check right when I woke up and by sheer luck, they had 2 in stock, which I grabbed one of.

I saw Smyths in the UK is getting her now too, so hopefully Target and GameStop aren't far behind.

That's what I'm hoping! After years and years of asking, we may finally have a good Rosalina figure at last! But I REALLY hope they don't do the glass eye thing they did with the first movie figures. I never bought any thanks to that, they looked too off-looking to me.

Now we need a Luigi's Mansion figure.
