Day 58a - Stiletto (G.I. Joe: Body Count) (11/9/25)

Stiletto was created by Bill Nedrow for his story G.I. Joe: Body Count and kicks off Ladies Week!

Born in Hua Hin, Thailand, she seemed to follow Mercer's trajectory of leaving Cobra for the GI Joe side, but the truth is her loyalty to Cobra Commander was extreme. After receiving Special Forces training through her country's military, Stiletto became a POW where she was tortured and disfigured. Her captors were defeated by Cobra soldiers and Cobra Commander allowed her to fight the man who scarred her to the dead. When she awoke in a Cobra medical facility, she pledged her life to Cobra Commander. She eventually appeared to join the G.I. Joe side, fighting alongside Mercer, Taurus, and Red Dog, even accompanying them to The Pit, but never ceased being an agent of Cobra.

Late to the party on Daina - animated, okay, I'd buy, but comic Daina I'd preorder and check my order status every day to see if she'd ship yet. Comic Daina is a thousand times cooler than animated, but I won't say no to the latter.

Stiletto: sure yeah. I don't know the character but I like the design and she fits an interesting role in the lore.

Yes on Stilleto but don't make her a straight repaint of Helix. I've kept her very minimal because she always looked way to busy and cumbersome to me with all her gear on.

She is relatively new, and hasn't had a ton of exposure, but she did get a figure almost ten years ago. Not the only literary Joe character but the most prominent.

Day 58b - Canary Ann (Unnamed/Unproduced Female Figure) (11/9/25)

Bonus figure for the first day of Ladies Week is a bit of an odd one because she barely exists. According to YoJoe.com:

This prototype was displayed as one of the cards in the G.I.Joe 30th Salute Trading Card set.

"As the GI Joe television show gained popularity in the early 1980s, Hasbro made plans to introduce a black female character to the team. Market research showed that female characters, especially Lady Jaye, Scarlett, and the Baroness, appealed to the GI Joe TV audience. However, this project was dropped when Hasbro decided that female action figures would be poor business, and the character was never given a name."

EDIT: And now we're striving to merge this with Canary Ann, the international repaint of Lady Jaye. Come on Hasbro, time to get this figure released!
