Millie’s latest victim.

She snuck into my office that has a short barrier at the door, traverses the canyons of boxed figures I’ve yet to open, stepped over a sea of Transformers to reach into my Marvel Select display to pick the most random figure to destroy. She did this while I was out hunting but all of my family was home, just preoccupied with other things. Nothing is safe.

I want to add that I still hold to the fact the Select Doom has the best cape material ever made. It can hold its form, but still allow the figure to sit. All capes should be made from this material.

Kind of intrigued by these re-releases. Don't need any so far, but I am all for it if it means they don't have to come up with questionable variations of heavy hitters in some waves.

Seeing some people melting down a bit over the reissued figures on Instagram. I dont understand this at all... its not like they are taking the place of new or original releases. Its just a new production run on existing figures. Great for people who missed them... better if your dog ate the first release.

Some people just like to feel special about their acquisitions. Especially in video games and action figures, I see a lot of "Got mine, no one else should be able to." People even gatekeep stores with new stock and sales.

And if it's not something coming down the pipeline that serves their wants, they get rankled.

My absolute favorite type of person is the guy that posts about finding a brand new figure, but very blatantly ignores any questions about which store it was found at - especially if people know roughly where that person lives. Can't POSSIBLY have other people getting the same figures as you. Because, you know, toy collecting is famously a very private activity that we don't talk about or share interest in.

Especially with imports/third party. It's a whole new pedigree of collector that doesn't want to divulge their resources.
