Wow, I can't believe they sent Dwight all the way to Italy to share two re-releases.

Free trip to Italy for Dwight, at least.

May not be that much more expensive than heading to San Diego in the grand scheme of things.

But the Lucca con is huge - bigger than SDCC, and I suspect Europe is still a decent market for the line.

That teased blast effect reminds me of the cli[p-on blast that an old (original ToyBiz?) War Machine got a loooong time ago.
Maybe it's too on the nose, but could this me a deluxe or maximum War Machine?

Did they confirm it's not a BAF part? The Punisher War Machine was one of the lingering leaks not yet shown. I still think it's some sort of mech/MvC Sentinel from the way the rockets looked.

Yep. That's why Hasbro's there. If their booth is in a good spot they've got 250,000 pairs of eyeballs on'em.

I mean, look at this:

A comic con that takes over an entire city for one weekend out of the year. That's just hard for me to fathom.

Lucca is an ancient walled city that has a population of about 89,000. So basically they get nearly three times as many visitors as there are residents for this convention.

I think it would be worth it to go just for the art, the architecture and the history. Not to mention authentic Italian food (And NOT a Little Caesar's double decker). The fact that there's a comic book convention going on at the same time would be a bonus.

I would love to go someday. Someday ...

I’m getting psyched for Nimrod. Finally read his attack on the Hellfire Gala. Yikes that was violent! He took out so many X-Men.

Took out the old Nimrod figure again. He’s still fun. I have never been able to get his waist to move well. I tried some shock oil, but it’s hard to get it to the torso joint.

I definitely will get one of the new Nimrod. Maybe a second to really mess around with if the price is decent.

My initial thought was pass, but as the day has gone on I'm warming to the rerelease even though I have the original. I like the classic Nimrod head a lot. Not the biggest fan of the pink fingers, that seems a weird choice, but the rest of it ain't bad.

I'm considering it depending on price. It might be one of the few I try to catch on sale or something. Do we know if it's wide release or only Pulse or what?
