Fwoosh Toys/Articulated Icons - A Retrospective

AMAZING that the guys that do a podcast with Bobby Vala, get stuff sent to them by Bobby Vala, work at Bobby Vala's booth, and are friends with Bobby Vala.... ALSO happen to not like anything Hasbro does because Bobby Vala does it better. C-R-A-Z-Y coincidence.

Wasn't Robo there from the beginning? I think I remember seeing something where he was working with the other guy on testing the site and Youtube channel. I'm not 100% sure on that though. However I think he might have become more the face of The Fwoosh, but I don't think he was just a hired hand in the beginning.

Either way it clearly ended in a fog and Robo and Veebs probably got out at a good time.
I think he was, I just meant that I don't think he's the one that was running the toy company and making all the decisions. Being so accessible on social gets him misdirected attention from people not in the know.

Are you suggesting that they might be engaging in hypocrisy and possible gaslighting? Heavens to Murgatroyd say it ain't so!!!

Yeah I don't mean to say Robo had any hand in what is going on now, or leading up to it. I just don't think he started out as just a sort of "employee." He may have backed away from being in depth and settled into the promotion aspect over time.

Are you talking about canonball? Another instance of "what ever happened to that guy?"

He and his... wife(?) were old-school Fwooshers.

Sounds like Joe Rogan's podcast.

Especially me. And I would certainly hope no one wishes for me to die because of it.

Amen to this whole post and sentiment. Speaking as someone who got off on a fairly poor foot with you when we first interacted, you've turned into one of the forumgoers I like seeing the posts of the most. I don't see much point in dwelling on or bringing most things about people unless it's outright grifting (like in Paul's case) or inhumane views. I'll leave it at this though.

This thread needs some Puppy Power

Every thread needs more of the greatest Hanna Barbera character of all time...

3POA is just valueless yapping. At least have one guest with a clashing take on there every time or something, otherwise I'm just going to go to friends and forums to talk about things we've been getting into or shit on things.

People are upset, people are looking for someone to point a finger at--end of the day, there is only one person posting to LinkedIn "I am Fwoosh" like a dickhead. The buck stops there.
I am Fwoosh!

I’ve always assumed Robo and Veebs left because they were the face of Fwoosh and why not go into business for yourself than be someone else’s brand? There could be other reasons, but I always assumed it was as plain as that.

3POA is the Scrappy Doo of YouTube. Pointless, annoying, and a shitstain on everything it touches.

I felt Robo also implied he wasn't enjoying the behind the scenes aspects of manufacturing action figures. Probably sounds like fun until you're dealing with Chinese factories and all that goes into releasing a product you're happy with. That's just my take from listening to Robo as a guest on other streams.

Surely there's a better analogy you can use than besmirching one so resilient and charismatic as Scrappy.
He's "charismatic" in the same way a certain Orange grifter is. Sure, some people love him, but the rest of us see him for the fraud he is.

I've watched some and I think you have a good balance of authentic and production. You also have something to say. A lot of people just sit in front of the mic and scrape for it, even when it's a review.
I appreciate that, thank you. We're still very new, so I appreciate the kind words as we try to figure this stuff out.
