Skurge the Executioner BAF Wave

In the comics, when the Micronauts “grew” into the regular 616, they maxed out at 6-inches tall.
Yeah, the idea was that the toys (1:18, mostly) were actual size based on the comics when the characters were here on Earth. That particular rule seems to have been relaxed for Bug when he is part of the Guardians.

But the toy line and comics were inconsistent - Katza and Force Commander were 6" in the toy line, Microtron and Biotron were larger (Biotron 12"). So the ReAction figures for Karza, Force Commander, Biotron and Microtron are the first instances those figures scale with the original toys in comic scale.

I picked up Microtron in the hopes that Hasbro actually does the Micronauts in Legends someday.

But back on topic, count me among those who received a bevy of emails adjusting the arrival date for this wave. 11/25 for everyone except Warbow, who comes on 12/19. WTF?!

Right now it says November 24th. Click here.

Christmas 1983!

1983 is the year A Christmas Story came out.

Is that what happened to Warbow? He shot his eye out with a BB gun?

Har! I crack myself up.

Fuck yeah. I know what SDC is getting for Christmas. Seventeen Warbows with no BAF parts.

No, I'm getting ...

12 Warbows drumming
11 Warbows piping
10 Warbows a-leaping
9 Warbows dancing
8 Warbows a-milking
7 Warbows a-swimming
6 Warbows a-laying
5 Golden Warbows
4 calling Warbows
3 French Warbows
2 Turtle Warbows
And a Warbow in a pear tree.

My other Christmas present's going to be a copy of the Necronomicon, or as it's sometimes called, the Book of the Dead. I'll use it to learn how to cast spells and then I'll turn all those Warbows into life size ugly green flesh eating Zombies. Then I'll use them as biological weapons and unleash them at the next Republican National Convention.

See, I have this all planned out. You'll read about it in all the papers.

I'm probably going to get a visit from the Secret Service.

Well, that's okay. In the immortal words of Bette Midler "Fuck'em if they can't take a joke!"

Huh. I see that. Mine still says December 19th. HA!
No way that the factories can keep up with the Warbow demand. Not possible to get them to everyone by Nov 24th. Hasbro will likely have factories running night and day to hit that Dec 19th deadline. They may need special charter cargo flights to get them here by Christmas. Think Tickle Me Elmo meets Cabbage Patch Dolls level of demand, parents fighting in the aisles, black market prices well into triple digits.

I predict net sales to surpass the $14 million they got from the Galactus HasLab - at least 1,000,000 units for Warbow is a conservative estimate.
