MCM London Comic Con Oct 24th-26th 2025

The tease could be anything that fires rockets, i.e. almost any Iron Man hero or villain or whatever military weapon you want to attribute it to. The Hasbro Overwatch Ultimates Soldier 76 figure has an effect piece that plugs into his gun that looks almost exactly like the tease item.

Hmmm. Memory cheats, I suppose. I thought I remembered him shooting a stream of smaller rockets.
You're probably remembering the move where he fires off multiple smaller sentinels to hit you. It's quick and feels like a rocket attack.

There are four interviews with Dwight at MCM posted to Youtube, and the fourth one is below. The interviewer asked Dwight a few questions about his background and how he got started in the toy business that I found interesting. Dwight also notes his favorite Legends from this year and listed Apocalypse, WW2 Logan, Deathbird, and Juggernaut.

Dwight shouts out Living Brain and Gosamyr as total weirdos he'd like to see made. Living Brain would be awesome, and if he's even aware of Gosamyr that bodes well for seeing the New Mutants get made.

Living Brain was Dwight's One A Day pick this year.

I’d be entirely down with this, assuming it was the classic look (and if you’re doing Living Brain, is there any reason not to - him being a dumb retro robot is kinda the whole point).

Googling, I didn’t realise LB already has a bit of merch (he was released as part of a Marvel chess partwork collection), which is wild.

The base of the effect looks pretty big like it fits OVER a hand or a large gun. Is there some character that can generate missiles and weapons with their body?
Probably several, I just can't think of any with missiles that look like that.

It's definitely for some sort of deluxe, made to order, or maximum release though, you can bet that's not some standard carded figure. A BAF *maybe*, but I doubt it.

Ok, saw somewhere someone mention this, and given we've had a Nimrod rumor on the leak list this seems plausible since they'd no doubt do some heavy modification to the design. It would be a weird choice, but not the weirdest. Technically this is a nod to the Military Nimrod from the X-Force comics of the time, and I checked and don't think he ever used yellow missiles... but still:

Good pull. I never got that figure because the only place I had encountered Nimrod was in the cartoon where he very much did not look like that. I saw that one at TRU and wondered why he looked like that.

Yeah, it's a sort of rendition of a specific version of Nimrod that only pops up for like 2 issues. It is a cool look though. Nimrod's fun, but now he's in hotrod red! I have no idea if this is what the missiles are actually teasing, but whatever it is it can't be too obvious or folks would have scrounged it up by now.

Those little yellow bullet/missles make me think of the Green Goblin's pumpkin bombs. Small things like that are usually held. We've never gotten empthy shell casings for Cable or Punisher to litter the ground with. If they are supposed to be placed in a belt, those are usually sculpted as part of the belt. Gone are the days of launchable missles. Why they exist is really a mystery. They must be something someone holds.

But that assumes that there's going to be 8 in the box... For all we know we're just getting the 3 that plug into the effect.

I know everyone suspects it's some sort of Iron Man-related figure but is there a character that uses a portable rocket launcher quite a bit?
My guess was gonna be the the smiley-faced mechs that Cameron Hodge's "The Right" uses. I know the below pics show shoulder cannons, but I assume those can be swapped for rocket pods just as easily.

Are we positive it's a BAF part? My thoughts were that perhaps a Quinjet could launch missiles, but I'd assumed they'd look more like traditional missiles. Those look like short range cluster munitions more than anything.

Beyond that I think it'll just be the MvC Sentinel. I don't remember Nimrod ever being depicted missiles as he was mostly from the future, hovered around like a vertical flying candybar and didn't even need to move, but then would blast you with an energy beam.

I would really like a figure of Cameron Hodge, Hodge-Phalanx monster, and the armored troops from the Right. I was just thinking the other day that a lot of the more popular X-men villains are already in my shelf. It’s time to get to the weirdos.

However, I very much doubt that Hasbro would release figures of a group of homicidal racists called “The Right” in this climate. Unfortunately.
