In a recent podcast Vala did make some really insulting comments about Dwight regarding his ability to design, his managerial skills and his appearance. Perhaps in Dwight's jet lagged state he just let it fly at panel. Or it could be about somebody else completely.

On the one hand, I can’t believe we have the freaking Hypno hustler. On the other hand, I can’t believe we have the freaking Hypno hustler before Balder the brave. WTF?

Hypno-Hustler gives me hope that any character could be made in Legends.

Now has Balder teamed up with Spider-man or the X-men? Have the Warriors Three met the X-men or Spidey? It must have happened somewhere in the vast amount of stories told in Marvel comics. Come on Hasbro give us Balder and the Warriors Three in either a Spider-man or X-men wave.

Balder requires way more unique tooling. While I am familiar with Baldur, I have never read any comics with him in them, unlike Hypno which I have read a few. If both toys were made as perfect legends versions, I would probably buy Baldur over Hypno, as the spiderman shelf is already overflowing, and the Asgard shelf is very lonely.

And Hypno is kind of a Joke character... Let's face it, as a toy he looks Like a guy with a fro in a barbie costume.

Evidently, Dwight said the missile tease is comic-related, not MCU or Gamerverse.

It's about goddamn time that we got some New Mutants. I'm going to be peeved if their yellows don't match, though.

I will be more mad if they all match the weak piss yellow that Sunspot 97 figure is. Real yellows for original training costumes please.

So, what's up with the Owl figure? When did he ever wear boots? I can almost see the terrible use of that overly detailed and layered overcoat if it is reuse, but I don't recognize it.

If anything, the Owl would have been a very good contender for the first wired cape.

Definitely not classic Owl.

Does anyone know a source they pulled this Owl design from? Is it just a convenient reuse... or a terrible original sculpt they came up with on their own?
