Blokees Transformers

I got the entire wave case with both versions of Sludge, Unicron, Hot Rod, Fort Max,another Prime, an Insecticon, Sharkticon & Blitzwing from Nerdzoic this week.

Built them all on Thursday and I have to say it's great having all the Dinobots in bot mode.
 
I bought some various Blokees Defender packs off AliExpress. Got lucky and got the one I wanted most, Special Armor Soundwave. Also found Shockwave, Prowl, Blitzwing, Thundercracker, and Jazz. I like them! Five or so vehicles on top of that, I don't really care about those, although the Devastator parts are neat. Would love to find a Tarn.

Overall they're neat but I still dislike the blind bag experience. I'm reminded of SD Gundam figures, but without toppling over so easily. Some of the vehicles I got suck, like two Brawls and Inferno.

Ditto. I thought that fad faded a few years ago.

Anyway, got the IDW Optimus. I wasn't planning on getting one at Walmart I swear. I was picking up a few odds and ends when I noticed they dropped a whole fresh box of the ONE assortment and had the last 4 of the Parallel set hidden under a box. I only grabbed one, but I am tempted to grab the rest before it's back the the ONE set sitting on the shelf.

I have an extra hot rod. Would make a trade for one I don’t have gladly.

I really want the damn unicorn head but have too much of the set to risk buying more blind
 
Almost broke down and tried this line. Want to buy something off Walmart's site but pondered adding stuff to get to free shipping. They supposedly had four of Galaxy Roll Out for $5 each. Added them to my cart. Went to check out. And then they sold out of the Blokees.

My local WM has the One wave, but I'm not interested in those designs. I realize that movie is probably decent, but those designs have no draw for me. If WM had pretty much any other wave, I'd give them a whirl. Will keep my eyes open for these at local shops, but I'm not sure who would carry them. Almost tempted to just order a box from overseas, but I'm not sure I want to commit to another line especially at $60+ for a box. And the blind box format really turns me off. Especially when full waves have more characters than are in a box, almost guaranteeing you're not going to get what you want.

You can always check Nerdzoic. He's had waves and individual boxes and you aren't waiting for a month or more from AliExpress. My LCS also carries them, but they're a few bucks more there.
 
I'd have to search out local comic stores to see if they have them. If I'm not going to stumble upon them in my regular adventures, I'd rather just order them online. There are a couple of stores who could potentially have them here in the mall down the street. Maybe I'll poke my head into those stores on of these days.

Checked Nerdzoic. I've heard of them but have never ordered from them. They really don't have any identifiable singles available, but thanks for the heads up.
 
No problem. They usually ship within 2 days when I've ordered from them, if you end up finding anything of interest.
