General Marvel Legends

I've found quite a few AEW figures at Ross at the $3.99 price. I've found Loyal Subjects Turtles stuff for $6.99. I tend to find some of the Star Wars Black Series from the Disney+ TV shows for $5.99, but very rarely do I ever find any Marvel stuff there.

I thought about skipping outback Storm but man, I like her better than any of the Jim Lee era Storm figures we've gotten. Punk Storm is always and forever my favorite (to the point I'd buy a remake of her now with modern articulation) but Outback is easily my new second-favorite.

Meanwhile, Walmart shipped Hellfire Spidey today, continuing the trend of Walmart mostly shipping the stuff I'd be okay with them canceling on me and canceling the stuff I'm furious about. I should have him tomorrow. Always happy to have a Spidey variant costume, just laughing at how of course a this is the one they won't cancel...
 
Any thoughts on the best head for Storm? I kind of want to replace the stock head with either the three-pack short-haired head or a mohawk head.

I'm not concerned about accuracy because this is the Storm on my shelf.

I'm using the short haired head from the 275 3pk. Looks great to me.
 
The only reason I still have the Mafex Storm figure is for the heads. Those seem to be the most accurate to me for her.

I also swapped a 97 mohawk Storm onto the Punk Storm body and I think that swap looks great. Speaking of - I've been eyeing that body for a custom because I need the arms. Has ML released any other female characters with bare brown arms other than MCU Shuri? Hers are too skinny. I don't think they have.
 
So... I've begun the process of removing old/outdated figures from the display. I've bough every Legends and Classics figure (that was comic accurate) since the beginning. The rule is that I only keep older figures where an updated version in that costume hasn't been released (or of that character.) I have one of those large tubs overflowing with figures and I'm not done. I have no idea how many. Many hundred.

The collection looks great :) It's like pulling several dead teeth and having a fresh smile lol
 
I have had ML purges several times over the last 4 years. My rules are simple for the purges-First any character that gets upgraded gets purged, mostly. Some exceptions have been Cap and Spider-Man but I have gotten rid of quite few of them too. The second rule is also how often do I play with them. I take Legends into my work and do little set ups on my desk to amuse myself and others through out the day. If characters haven't gone with me in awhile or at all, probably getting purged. I currently have a bunch I am taking to sell tomorrow like 13 to 16 I think including one BAF that was part of a team but I'm getting rid of the whole team too. I haven't touched them in a long time. Gives me money to buy more and clears up storage space. Keeps collecting them fresh. I think maybe I have regretted getting rid of a few once or twice but usually not.
