X-Men '97

I'm going to roll the dice on Apocalypse and hope a couple years down the line, he'll be re-released in comic colors. Of course I may be dead by then, but if so, I didn't need him, did I?

Look, I want a full on X-Force show just like the current X-Men show. But I'd rather see 9 seconds of Shatterstar helping the X-Men in this show than just never see Shatterstar ever appear in animation for the rest of my life. Because the latter is just... way.. way.. way more likely to be the case.

I don't necessarily see the pace slowing any time soon. I think it's great that they want to continue adding in some of the more mature stories, but they're not gonna sacrifice the action either, whether that's a Disney mandate or what. The few slower episodes we got in season 1 got some criticism for breaking up the pace (which, to be fair, I think has more to do with where in the season they were placed moreso than their existence), and I can already see the vocal fanboys decrying the lack of action in an X-Men show. It's admirable that they want to try and please both crowds, but you're never gonna satisfy everyone.

Then again, now that they know they have a future ahead, maybe they will take some more time to breathe. I suppose it depends on if they knew they were getting season 3 when making season 2. At this point I think it would take a hell of a lot to get Disney not to renew the show again, so I'd hope the crew can rest a bit and get more experimental, even if nothing is official.
I also don't think it will be much different - and to be fair, season 1 was a huge success, so why mess with a winning formula? I will say, though, that decompressing the adaptations wouldn't have to mean less action. Still plenty of room to fit in action set pieces even if you're only adapting 2 storylines at once instead of 6.

Has anyone removed the paint from Emma's legs and corset yet? I feel that would make her more comic compatible. I will probably try it.

Or you could somehow be in the best health of your life, but with no Apocalypse. Why put off until tomorrow what can be bought today?

Got a charge from Hasbro Pulse and it had me worried for a second- couldn't remember ordering anything since the Battle of the Heroes set, but I checked, and it was the Storm/Wolverine pack. I'd totally forgotten about it. Glad it wasn't theft, and even more glad for some fresh plastic on the way soon!

Pulse charged me for both the Cyclops/Marvel Girl and Wolverine/Storm packs. I bought two of the Cyclops/Marvel Girl pack for some reason.

I guess we’ll see. It wouldn’t be surprising based on the pacing of season one for them to fast-track the adamantium rebonding and skip the whole Genesis/feral Wolverine plot. Or it’s a fake-out for the trailer and that’s actually Morph or something.
He was covered in green goo in that shot, and later in the trailer you see Morph wearing Logan's Team X bodysuit and apparently working with Deathstrike and Sabretooth, whom I would assume would have to be Sinister's clones to not be ripping him apart in that instance. I don't know that Sinister ever cloned Deathstrike, but I know Archangel, Psylocke and Beast fought a clone of Sabretooth that he made from his Marauder gene batch in the comics.

I hope it's not instantaneous rebonding of the adamantium for the actual Logan, his run of comics directly after he lost it would make for a great solo storyline perhaps better than what they did with Storm's "LifeDeath" homage subplot.
