X-Men '97

Not crazy about the price, but for what it is, it really ain't thaaat bad. Especially once season 2 starts airing, I have a feeling everyone is gonna want Apocalypse and be mad they missed out. Heck, I'm happy with the super basic Titan Heroes Sentinel, and I'm still kinda bummed I missed out on the made-to-order one, so I won't let that happen twice.

That Apocalypse is fantastic, but I can't bite at that price. I'm pretty happy with the Marvel Select one in my display anyway.

I'm going to imagine one of the four Apocalypses I already own is brand spanking new and call it good.

Any chance we see 97 Jubilee in her standard look this weekend?

Yeah that's my reaction. We only saw him briefly.

This figure is a year out and look at all these accessories. They must have looked at something. Because he doesn't do any of that in 97. And this is a 97 figure.

There will be regret. Mark it.

$120 seems reasonable, with free shipping, especially. Considering that breaks down to about $10 more than the recent MAFEX Magneto rerelease at BBTS. And no way MAFEX is doing a 12 inch figure. The articulation might be slicker with Medicom but I think I'd prefer scale over range for this particular character. I love variable sizes in the display, really makes everything pop—can't wait for Gamerverse Juggernaut for that very reason.

So Hasbro doesn't charge for these until shipment?

A lot of the accessories look like they're from 92, but I'm sure we'll be seeing him do some of this stuff in 97 season two.

Correct, no charge until shipment. Shipping is free.

Mannn I may have to get Apocalypse but I'll have to think on it. I have the retro card figure but never opened it, I kind of Ike keeping it carded.

FWIW, the Marvel Select Sabretooth fits really well with the animated figures. He can't move well, but he looks good.

Apocalypse looks good. I would have preferred Bastion or Beast to be announced as incoming ASAP, but I'll buy this.

I think everything he comes with is reminiscent of 92, don't know why it wouldn't be used as a display of his powers in 97 Season 2 as well. The only attachment I don't remember is the blade hand.
