Harvinger Studios, Savage Crucible

Don't like the Medusa dude.

Kublai Khan is an INSTANT buy.

Unsure about the actual snake heads, but that more humanoid/reptilian head on that body looks fucking AWESOME.

The snake guys look to be well executed, but not sure I like them? Not resonating the way the lizards and fish guys did... They may grow on me...

Watched a livestream about wave 4.

Snakemen each come with three heads. The snake heads have opening jaws, moveable fangs (to allow jaws to close), and removable tongues. Some parts are reused from fish guys. Like upper arms and upper legs. Torso is new. There’s a ball at base of neck and base of head. An alternate long neck piece can be used but i don’t believe it articulates at base of neck even though it’s an attachment point.

There’s at least one more snakeman in the works, as the sculptor mentioned his favorite snakeman hasn’t been revealed yet. I think he was talking about snakeheads but I could be wrong.

I don’t think they’ve settled on Kubla’s skintone yet. He also comes with three heads. Hair back for use with removable helmet. Hair down. And a helmeted troop builder head with some kind of removable mask, which I don’t think was shown yet. The mummified head from his pole arm can attach to bodies as it has the same ball attachment. And other heads can be put on the pole. Pole can also insert into their upcoming bases. Also has arrow notching hand. Arrows will likely be removable from quiver and not a solid mass.

Appreciate the breakdown. I was going to watch that stream sometime today, but it's long and I just don't think I'll have time. The cliff notes is usually all anyone really needs anyway.

Thanks for this info - my interest in the snakemen has increased with the alt heads and neck.

I've always been a bit of a sucker for snake people. Honestly, if these had come out first I probably wouldn't have bought the lizard people at all. I'd just have a bunch of snake dudes. Looking forward to seeing what kind of bright snakey color schemes they do when they repaint this guy seventeen times.

I probably would have preferred Snakemen to lizardmen, but the lizardmen are great. And don’t often get much action figure representation other than Marvel’s Lizard. I’m happy I have them. And will also certainly love the Snakemen too.

I’m also looking forward to more colorful Snakemen down the road. Python. Corals. Cobras. I wonder if they’ll try a serpentine lower half for a future release. I’d love for Boss Fight to make their snake people in 1:12 scale, but I’m a much bigger fan of Harvinger Studios over Boss Fight.

This comment had me thinking how cool a 1/12 Medusa would be. Too bad nobody will fucking make one.
SERIOUSLY! I've wanted a cool Medusa figure since I saw Clash of the Titans as a kid (can't believe they didn't do a figure of her in the original toyline). It seems so obvious to me! A 1/12 Medusa would be amazing!
