I imagine pressure from almost every country outside of the U.S. would hurt eventually? Especially as this administration is forcing the world to reorganize knowing that the U.S. will not support anyone other than themselves in any way.

I think we've come fully around to the understanding that one of the only things that actually moves politics is the threat of violence and the US's ability to threaten violence is far too powerful for almost anyone to want to fuck with. Usually maybe they would because it feels empty, but I don't think anyone is actually sure that Trump wouldn't launch a full-scale war with a (former) ally. In fact, I'm fairly confident that he would.

Agreed. I doubt he'd think twice at all about history or friendships. Someone who got him laid all through high school, I imagine Trump would still have them killed if it benefited him and never have any true remorse.
