General Marvel Legends

Got what is (by my standards) a "big" haul from BBTS. Maximum Spidey, Punisher/Bushwacker, 97 Nightcrawler, and Zandar (a GI Joe, now you know....) all came today. Punisher is pretty amazing. I think a nice matte finish goes a long way, his accessories are on point, and I think both heads have great personality. I imagine a white gloves/white boots version of this guy is coming. Bushwacker is for sale. Haven't opened Spidey but he passes the in-the-package visual inspection at least. Nightcrawler is my weak-willed X-Men guy purchase, hot on the heels of Banshee. Nothing new since I already have the previous version.

Zandar......I'm all caught up on my Dreadnoks now. If GI Joe didn't have Cobra and only had those rowdy biker boizzzz as enemies, that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
 
I wouldn't care if Miracle Man is a FF character they skip but a tuxedo body adapted from the suit body for Dracula and Ringmaster ....

I would hope Crystal in a FF costume would have other differences to her costume. The angular neckline. The 4 symbol not on her chest. I think it has a skirt at times. She even says in that comic she designed it a little different to reference her Inhuman aesthetic.

Theres a lot of ways they could take it... including a basic copy of Sue's outfit

I love that Punisher and Bushwacker set. I use Bushy as a human crony of Jigsaw that, yes, Punisher mangled in an equally horrific way. :) I'm so happy to have a Lee Punisher. Now if only we could get a Zeck Punisher--I could die happy.

I still need Zandar. Not to enthused for Monkeywrench even though the 'Noks are my favorite characters from all of GI Joe. He just seems so generic compared to the others. He looks like a combo of a couple of the originals. I'll probably grab him if I can find a great price, though. Who's next after that? Heartbreaker,? (Whoops! Heart Wrencher.) I forget.

As far as Dreadnoks go? They have yet to do Thrasher (the Thunder Machine driver) and Zanzibar the Dreadnok pirate!
 
There are not Dreadnoks named Cletus and Billy Bob are there? That's a bridge too far, I think. That sounds like a couple of yokels that wanted to play dress up. it doesn't really fit with the rest. I'm going to assume that's a silly joke and will accept no further information about it.
 
Ah, you're all getting into post-90s/early 2000s which my knowledge is more limited. For me buying a figure of Billy Bob would be like buying a figure from Ahsoka or The Acolyte.
 
I was thinking we got a name-only reveal of Heart Wrencher (not Heartbreaker 😳) during the last stream for some reason.

When I realized I didn't have to display Bushwacker's flesh cannon I finally opened that set, put on the alt hand, and now he's in the display. I popped Frank's screaming head onto the modern camo punisher and it looks great.

Also, anyone else having to remove the h everytime they write "Bushwhacker" - "Bushwacker". Just me?
 
Yeah, I don't think I'd ever display Bushwacker with that veiny flesh cannon. Regular dude he is.
 
It brings to mind the words of Charlie Kelly from Always Sunny, "If you want it to be a bicep, it needs more veins!"
