G.I. Joe Classified Series

Man, I'm glad I got back into this line. As I had once said, for a while I was just collecting Retro Card Classifieds. But there is just so many cool figures out, and on the way, I had to get back in to collecting the regular line too. I honestly think this is the best toy line out right now.

I just love all the accessories, pieces, and display options. I also keep thinking, there will probably never be another GI Joe line like this. With so many characters, so many options, at this scale and articulation.

I don't know how long this line will go on for, but it's just one I don't want to miss out on.

(All this positivity was brought to you by some new Classified figures I just opened that were dope as Hell.)

Well.... which ones?!?
I got a couple Night Creepers and a couple Iron Grenadiers, as well as the Marauders Spirit and Low Light set. And then, even though this wasn't a character from the ARAH line, I picked up the 60th Anniversary Halo Jumper figure.

The Retro Cover Girl figure looks like her from some of her appearances from the Cartoons, and not the vintage A Real American Hero toy from the vintage line.

I thought the point of the Retro Card line was to make characters as they looked in the ARAH toy line. Did Hasbro ever state what made them choose this look for Cover Girl,

If I'm not mistaken, original Cover Girl didn't come on a card at all, right? She was packed with a vehicle. They already gave us a figure of the look of that vehicle driver, so this was a way to do the alernate version. I think it works well.

Nice. Spirit and Low Light were ones I never had as a kid so that set was terrific for me.

I was just realizing that we only need two unique characters to finish off the vintage ARAH Dreadnoks. Monkeywrench is coming, so we just need Thrasher and Zanzibar.

Speaking of Dreadnoks, I hope they do the other versions of Road Pig and Zartan from the ARAH line too someday. Ninja Force Zartan and Super Sonic Fighters Road Pig

Even trying really hard to buy less stuff.... I would almost certainly get both of those.

So I bag up each Joe’s gear individually when they’re not on display and somehow Bazooka’s kit went missing. Pretty mad at myself because I’m so neurotic about storage. But I just found it… in the cat’s little house. He literally stole a bazooka.

That cat should probably be on some sort of watch list.

I put each Classified figures accessories in an individual bag too. I do that with all accessories for all figures in every line I collect. I have 5 Cats now and have spent my life helping and rescuing cats. So, many cats have been through here.

None of them. I repeat none of them, started stealing my baggies of accessories on their way to becoming arms dealers.

Justice is right. Your kitty needs to be on a watchlist. Maybe even a no flight list.

Am I the only one who puts all the gear into a communal container? In this case, those little pull-out shelving bins, one for small arms, one for rifles, and one for "other"? Easier to gear-up figures that are lacking.

Sharing is caring!

I have a little time where I just throw everything not being displayed and trust myself to remember what goes to who if the need arises.
