Me:

Final Suit Batman and Batman One Million were supposed to be delivered today. I’m out of town of course. Hopefully my neighbor grabbed them. From the McFarlane Toy Store.

Cowardly Lot Batman coming this week from CMD store.

Batman Year One coming next month from Wal Mart.

Deadshot and Adam Strange coming from McFarlane. Awaiting fulfillment.

Eradicator and Cowboy Batman coming next month from McFarlane.

Missed Bizarro from GameStop.

Missed Conner Hawke and Hourman from CMD. Coming soon from Target I assume.

I like to preorder as much as possible. Limiting what I have to actually hunt. Jade is gonna be a pain.

Page Puncher Supergirl

Digital Superman

Digital Two Face

Eradicator

movie Superman with Krypto

Mafex Superboy

All with constantly-moving-backward shipping dates. Hope of tariff prices not being tacked on fading......

McF Deadshot
McF Year One Bats
Mafex Hush Robin

Just picked up most of everything listed above in the last week, so waiting on that next round of orders.

Hawkgirrrrl, Canary, Zatanna, Sensation WW, and Ivy, let's do it.

Currently, I think the only DC related thing I have pre-ordered is the Hot Toys Scarecrow 2.0. There was plenty of salivating when that bad boy was officially announced.

It feels weird (but kinda nice?) not to have anything else pre-ordered. There was a time when I'd have grabbed almost everything released- at least for the Batman stuff. I'm of course gonna grab the Returns stuff, and I'd totally snag the final suit Riddler if I ever found him (not likely in my neck of the woods). But I guess collecting comes in waves- I've kinda fluctuated more to Black Series and Marvel Legends currently, but those will have their lulls and I'll shift back to Multiverse, I'm sure.

McDC is mostly buy when I find it these days. It's too hard to actually track down everything I want and pre-orders through fan channel seem to be get shorted from time to time or are really late. If I want all the figures in a bundle sometimes I'll order from McToyStore if I'm around during the 30 seconds it's up.

Canceled my McF POs and I'm selling off the rest of the McF collection. Down to a handful, so...
Just Mafex Superboy and Robin for me right now.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (BBTS)
Kingdom Come Superman (BBTS)
Batman Year Two B&W Accent Edition (BBTS)
Cowboy Batman (Gamestop)
Armored Green Lantern (RoS) (Gamestop)
Funko Pop! Krypto (SUPERMAN) (BBTS)
Beast Kingdom Batman Returns DAH Penguin Commandos x2 (BBTS)
Mafex Superboy (AmiAmi)
Mafex Robin (AmiAmi)
Cowardly Lot Batman (Gamestop) *Shipped This Morning
Beast Kingdom DAH Batman '89 *Shipped This Morning, BBTS
Beast Kingdom DAH Batman Forever *Arriving Today
Beast Kingdom DAH Batman & Robin Batman *Arriving Today
Beast Kingdom DAH Batman Begins *Arriving Today

I have more on preorder than I actually thought. As I was typing up the list, I noticed that 3 Beast Kingdom figures are actually arriving today and 1 more shipped this morning (all from BBTS). I've been so busy, I missed the notifications. So that's a cool surprise! I guess I'm doing figure reviews tonight now lol

Are you getting rid of McF because the line is ending, or just because you're tired of it? You've probably stated this in the quitting lines thread already, and I missed it (apologies if so).

No worries! It's a combination of the line ending and my getting into Mafex. I still have my whole DCUC collection, so with Mafex I was starting my third DC collection. I realized I needed to scale back, so the McFarlane stuff was targeted first. I'm also trying to pare down my Joes and Marvel Legends. Now, if Mattel knocks it out of the park, well...I guess I'll have three DC collections again.

Ah, right on. I need to do some paring down myself...I have a toy show coming up, and I have 3 tables there this year. I was going through my storage recently, looking for things to unload, and discovered that I have A) way more stuff than I thought, it's very surprising how many things I'd forgotten about, and B) all of it is very, very cool and I just simply cannot part with any of it :ROFLMAO: I may have a problem!

Mafex has become one of my favorites. They had struggles early on, but their quality is much improved now and every time I get a new one I am reminded just how fun they are. I still need to track down Scarecrow and Riddler from Hush. I love my McF collection, not sure how I'm going to part with any of it, but I can definitely see why you leaned toward Mafex over McF. They release things at a trickle, but it's usually soooo worth the wait. I got into Hot Toys recently, and I actually prefer Mafex to them. Hot Toys look incredible, but you can't really do anything with most of them.

Marvel Legends Marrow and DC Multiverse Adam Strange (standard version) are shipping from BBTS today.

Digital Dr. Fate is on preorder from BBTS as is Storm Collectibles KOF 98 Kim Kaphwan and Bishoujo Star Trek Command Officer.

Mafex Rogue is on preorder from Hobby Link Japan.

I think that’s pretty much it. I’m reluctant to place any more preorders right now for obvious reasons. The “No longer shipping to the U.S.” e-mails are becoming more and more frequent. I’ve slowed way down on Marvel Legends, and McFarlane DC Multiverse figures like Shazam! and Damage that I would happily buy if I saw them at retail are becoming more difficult to come by between the line winding down and Tariffpalooza. eBay prices are becoming ludicrous..even by eBay standards.

For DC, all I've still got pre-ordered are Woman of Tomorrow Supergirl Page Puncher, the Armored GL, Cowboy Bats and Eradictor bundle, and Metamorpho and the Kaiju from the Superman movie. Not pre-ordered, but I'm keeping a lookout for Connor Hawke, Hourman, Justice Lord Batman, Jade and Cyborg Superman as I know they're hitting.

This week I received the Silver Age Supes, Two-Face, both Dr. Fates, PP KC Supes, Adam Strange, Deadshot, Mr Terrific Platinum, Damage, Starman and Nightmaster. I also received the full Marvel Legends mini-comic wave this week. So those are all marked off my list.

Outside of DC, I've got a ton of Marvel product product pre-orderd, a handful of Masterverse and some other random stuff (Jada Shaggy, The Tick, Monster Force, etc). I basically pre-order everything that I buy. The only things that I buy in store or once they become available are "chase" figures or clearance merchandise. My local retail is garbage and I'd never see most stuff if I didn't buy it online.

Hard rule for purges - if you forgot you had it, you didn't care. And may as well say you never had it to begin with.

In all seriousness, yeah...it's unfortunate, because it's all really cool stuff. But we went through a semi-remodel about 18 months ago and a ton of stuff went into storage so we could work on it, and I suppose if I then forgot that I even owned a lot of it it's a good sign to ditch.

Sometimes putting things out of sight is a great way to tell if you really got joy out of it.

There are some figures or statues I never want to stash. Some I know I will rotate. And then there are the things that I find and think, "Actually, I'd rather have the space and money for Random New Toy".

I've definitely had some "Ah, why did I get rid of that" figures, but it's very few and far between.
