Masters of the Universe: Origins

Yeah I missed some context clues in that e-mail. First i didn't pay attention to the title where it says "cross over". And then I glossed over the part where it said 'One Hero and One villain get a powerful Upgrade'.

It is for sure going to be more Transformers MOTU mash ups.
 
I'm definitely on a big slow down for buying this line, but I couldn't pass up Swfitwind. Definitely on the list of must-have characters if they ever made them.
 
I'm wondering if I'll regret not getting a second. Though I got two Panthors and never opened the second cos the first one was perfect.
 
I forgot Swiftwind was up today and I was able to place an order many many minutes past its drop. Such a change from dealing with McFarlane.

The down side is I had to pay $10 for a membership. I really want this one (50% for me, 50% for my unicorn-loving daughter) and I don't deal with Mattel Creations at all so I don't know long I can expect this to stay up. I just bit the bullet on the membership that I likely won't use again. Oh well.

Looking forward to this one quite a bit.
 
$116.70Cdn after all was said and done for She-Ra and Swiftwind......ouch. Granted it was $90Cdn before taxes and shipping, so it wasn't that big of a surprise. Still that is a chunk of change.

Yeah I was tempted to get a second set, but just can't after another round of preorders hit me this week. I might regret it later like with Faker & Dupli-Cat. I really wish I had ordered two sets at the time, especially seeing how crazy the secondary market price is on that set.

Missing Faker and Dupli-Cat is possibly my only Origins regret. I wasn't all-in on the line yet and skipped it and oooof, the after-market prices.
 
I got She-Ra and Swift Wind as well. I did grab two of them and was all checked out by 12:01 EST. $137 US for both after tax and shipping. I didn't realize at first, but the She-Ra is a bit different than the original, single cartoon release. Her hair is longer and more spread out like it's blowing from riding Swift Wind.

I haven’t looked closely but i think her skirt might also be a bit sifferent to allow for better leg articulation
 
I only got one because money is tight this month. I'd be a lot more compelled to get a second to display as Spirit if they had already made an Origins Adora.

My only regret was missing the 2 first releases SDCC Adam/ He-Man w/ boot knife. I tried to get that set at a reasonable price but it wasn't possible. That was an actual exclusive. At least with the Duplicat and Faker there were 2 ways to get those, even though they were also very limited.
