McFarlane DC Multiverse

Got everything except for Max. I never found Platinum Jim Carey Riddler online but went into an actual Gamestop and they had 1. I assume I'm scrounging like a dog for Max again. At least I got everything else.
 
Wow what a hog race. Shrek Batman penguin set check - catwoman and Penguin not so much. I am getting to old for this……

Nah, that's just GameStop's way of tricking you - their website always decides to make things unavailable after a glimmer of hope.

I tried to grab the set on MTS but just like yesterday, got it yanked away from me at 9:01. UGH.

It's also pretty annoying that McF puts up the figures on sale at the same time all competitors are putting them up for MSRP. That's just shitty. And I'd be less angry if I'd been able to benefit.

That delay was a little confusing. I ordered a second Catwoman when I didn't receive a confirmation for the first order. The first order eventually went through and is in my account. I got a confirmation email for the second, but then they immediately sent a cancelation email, "We’re very sorry, but the following item(s) sold out before your order was completed." I only wanted one anyways.

no, but see...it's different this time, you don't know what Gamestop is like when it's just me and Gamestop. Gamestop is sweet...and funny...you only see Gamestop when Gamestop is around everyone else, but in private....
 
About what I expected the experience to be. I was afraid I wouldn't get all I wanted and I didn't. I hold out hope for Shreck just for the fact that he will also (apparently) come to Target and Walmart. He's still far from lacked in, but at least it's something.
 
Ergh, I'm so put off by chasing figures in this line I'm kinda done, was kind of relieved when I saw BR Catwoman sold out on EE and BBTS, but she's still up on Gamestop AND GS had the Batgirl I dragged my feet ordering yesterday. Just preordered the ladies together for free shipping. I guess I"m down to only buying women characters, JSA characters, and staring way too long at new Batman variants wondering if this one will FINALLY be the one who's the right height for the rest of the characters in the line.

(EDIT: Misspoke about her being sold out on BBTS, but Bats & Penguin are. Guess I totally missed the Keaton train--I changed my mind too late about wanting one. At least there's other ways to get Keaton Bats.)

Once these show up for PO here, I'm gonna most likely get Shreck and that's about it. He's too good to pass of a custom body.
 
I ended up with everything except for Max, but I had the benefit of sitting in front of my laptop and nothing else to do. So I'm not going to say "that was easy", but I am grateful that I didn't have to fight too much for once.

Max and the duck giving "page not found" errors for 20 minutes was stupid, and if it hadn't been for those then it would have been a fairly good experience (for me). MTS put theirs up just early enough that things were staggered by a minute or two, so it would have been simple to purchase at MTS and then swim over to Gamestop to wrap it up. Of course, nothing ever goes as planned. Here's hoping Max is easy enough to find in store. I was refreshing his link like a madman until it finally popped up, I have no idea how he could be sold out but it is what it is.

I'm in the minority, but I wanted the duck more than anything else in the wave lol So overall I'm pretty happy.
 
I managed to find a case of 6 figs from Nerdzoic but it’s x2 Batman, x2 Penguin, x1 Catwoman and x1 Peacemaker

I’m willing to sell off some of these in exchange for Max Schreck and the Penguin Commamdos if anyone lucks out on doubles or triples and is willing to spare one
