I don’t actually mind a suited body for him either. I liked the crime lord update to him Jim Lee designed, and thought it was appropriate for a more modern take on the character. I’m just not sure it’s this suited body I like. I feel like he needs to be taller. The suited bodies are so puny. Like maybe the Samuel Jackson Nick Fury suited body might have been a better choice.

EDIT: Heck, toss him on the green suited Professor X body, and give him Gambit’s coat and arms and you’d have a pretty close approximation to how he looked on the cover of Uncanny X-Men #256.

I'd probably agree with that. I know I have spares of lots of suit bodies to try out. My set should be here Monday.
 
Might be worth restating - The body being used for Mandarin should be the same pinless suit body used for No Way Home Matt Murdock. Still on the thin side, but better than the original Coulson body.
 
My Iron Man/Mandarin set is arriving today apparently. It's only a few cities over.

Also, Amazon moved up my X-Men '97 figures and Wolverine role-playing mask to the next few days besides Jubilee, who's October 6th.

Did Hasbro ever release a shirtless iron fist figure with the dragon tattoo on his chest? I feel like that would make for a good match

It was in a box set with Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Jewel (Jessica Jones). It's pretty rare now, and Iron Fist was on the Pizza Spidey body. Very dated, likely too thin for Mandarin.

I mean compared to the Baron Moro I feel like that would be around the same size anyway. MCU figures scale smaller than their comic book counterparts, don’t they?

Both Baron Mordo figures are significantly thicker than the Pizza Spidey body.
 
POed the Gladiator/Deathbird set. I get that D-bird has a lot of new tooling, but it would have been nice if she had alternate hands or portrait- might have been a good candidate for a face plate experiment.
 
Deathbird is my #1 want.
I pre-ordered but I gotta say - that price hurt.
When California taxes were added I considered playing the long game, but went ahead and pre-ordered.
 
I pre-ordered Deathbrid/Gladiator, but it's Champion/Starfox that I'm far more excited for.

I agree that the $57.99 seemed high. I checked both Amazon and BBTS before ordering and they were the same price both places. At least neither of those places collect for pre-orders upfront like McFarlane Toy Store did to me today for the 7 figures I pre-ordered from them that won't ship until November. I hate that.
 
I mean Hasbro should repaint The Fist robed Buck green and purple, use their ring hands (pass on the yellow scare ones) and add a new cape and classicish head. Sell it fan channel and call him Wen Wu. We’d buy them in droves.
