McFarlane DC Multiverse

Ugh. $35 for a McFarlane figure, but Dr. Midnight is one of my favorite characters, and the figure does look good. I’m still left wishing they had put a little more effort into Hourman and Wildcat.

Hourman's cape reuse made me skip him. Maybe used super cheap.

I remember the build up to Batman 89 more than the actual film. It looked cool. About all I can remember that I liked. Usually falls pretty flat on the "motion" part of the motion picture.
 
Concur on Mid-Nite. He’s pretty good. Hourman was disappointing. No redo in sight. In my opinion, Wildcat is fine. In fact I like him quite a bit.

The Mid-Nite Platinum does piss me off. Minimal effort on Pieter Cross. Still gonna need one although I don’t see buying him above retail. Gonna need to find him in the wild.
 
Yeah, it's truly not even trying, The platinum is an easy pass, and I'm usually a sucker for them.

On the plus side? Hooty.
 
The only figures from the rumored release list that I'm even considering picking up are

Static Shock
Ice
Elongated Man

and maybe...
Jessica Cruz


That is it. Four more McFarlane figures I might buy out of like 30 announced.

And knowing this line at least two of them will be impossible to get my hands on.
 
Tomorrow and Friday, it's on. I luckily didn't need anything today. But all the Batman stuff the next two days, I want a lot of that stuff. I also feel fortunate I don't want Max Shreck or the Penguins. It always sucks chasing exclusives, and these are two I don't have to. But I would like to get Batman, Catwoman, and Penguin.

You know, I wish Mezco would make Batman Returns figures in their 5 Points line. They are doing all these cool 89 Batman 5 Points figures. It would be cool to add Batman Returns characters to that collection.
