Someone needs to revisit Gamergate historically, where all these people and 2016 election had origins if you were in the shit. Was always there, but that's what really radicalized and honed it.

No one talks about it. Even the "woke opposition" 11 years later were also grifting cash and some ended up on the right. Got mine, ladder up behaviour.

It's just an insane merging of alt right, gaming, Breitbart, Pepe, everything.

I would do it but I spent a lot of therapy crawling out of it. I remember the hostility of the "progressive" allies side of it, and part of me understands how people ended up indoctrinated and weaponized by the alt right. There but for the grace of God and critical thinking.

Seriously? Russia just "attacked" Poland (a supposed NATO ally) and now Trump is sending gifts, and "observers" to wargames between Belarus and Russia? Not to mention easing sanctions on Belarus' national airline (which will undoubtedly send parts, etc. to Russia for their near scrap western fleet of airliners). I am not surprised by Hungary or Turkey, but man Trump just keeps on moving closer and closer to Putin in public.

I know, I know, the MAGA(ts) will say it is all 4D chess, but the reality is this is just another Alaska where the US looks like simps and Belarus (and Russia) get all the benefit.
 
I have such a deeply terrible feeling about what's building up right now, and just joked that if someone who looked like Kirk jumped out of a cake at the Kennedy Center at this event in his honor and said Jesus raised him from the dead half of America would believe it.
