Trump now saying Charlie Kirk is dead.
That's how I found out. Saw the clip without any context before I'd heard the story and yeah- it's gnarly. Almost didn't look real, but it's amazing what the body can do.I made the mistake of clicking the video.
Dont do that.
Well, regarding him. As Trump said about the Iowa (?) shooting in January 2024 - "get over it."That's how I found out. Saw the clip without any context before I'd heard the story and yeah- it's gnarly. Almost didn't look real, but it's amazing what the body can do.
Look, I don't wish harm on (almost) anyone. It certainly feels a bit weird to cheer for someone's death. But if it was gonna happen to anyone, the guy who says "a few deaths each year are necessary to protect our 2nd amendment" feels like a pretty good, ironic choice. If anything, I feel bad that so many people had to witness it and have that memory for the rest of their lives.
But then hearing that it happened at the same time as another school shooting in Colorado just feels so.....American. And you just know that Kirk's death is gonna get way more coverage, because this country hates kids anyway, so instead of the usual half day of mourning for victims of gun violence, they'll just skip right over it.
I had the exact same thought. Not that it matters.you just know that Kirk's death is gonna get way more coverage,
I think, if anything, I'll be holding my breath until they find out who the real shooter was. If it's any sort of minority, they'll have a field day to end all field days. Hell, they'll probably blame it on (insert literally anything here) community until it's confirmed anyway. I don't necessarily see it being any sort of Republican, but stranger things have happened.
But let Trump be taught- that's what getting shot looks like, "graze" or not.
