RE: Waiting for sales:

See who is hyped most online, who sells out first on Pulse, who is needed by many to "complete a team" or who is a sought-after army builder and buy them full-price if you need them. I'm not following this line too closely but I wouldn't wait for a sale on Phoenix, personally. Maybe think of a rating scale out of 10, for both your desire for a toy and your estimate of the public's desire to buy out a toy, and buy the ones with the highest score at full price.
 
It's a funny wave to try to figure out who to wait on. Rachel and Feral have been on so many top ten lists for so many years I wouldn't wait on them. Beast helps fill out a specific team/era and we really haven't had that many Beast versions so I bet he sells well. This is my favorite version of Nat but we've had so many great Black Widows I could imagine her being discounted later. There's less buzz about casual Daredevil than I would've expected. Surfer I guess it depends on how successful folks were getting the Walgreens version - the older one actually has aged very well but I don't know how many people are still surfer-less and if that number is small, I could see him lingering as well.

But I didn't think the Gamerverse figures would get wiped out, but Juggs is sold out and two of the two-packs are still available on Pulse but not Amazon, and it's the latter where I'd hope to get a really good deal since Pulse only has those sporadic clearance sales.
 
I think Daredevil and Surfer will be the easy ones to find. Phoenix will be a hot seller (see what I did there) initially, then will be available. Feral will probably also stick around eventually. Widow is a double dip, but on that great body. She won’t be tough to find. Beast adds to Astonishing, a team that’s already had some stellar figures. But that cat look isn’t popular. I think he will dry up eventually.
 
Random thought but does Daredevil's torso look really short to anyone else? I can't see how there's a proportional midsection and chest here:

Rachel and Feral sold out hard on all the UK sites. I’ll have to wait for restocks - I’m not X-mad enough to go aftermarket.

Got my preorders in. I doubled up on Phoenix and Beast... Rachel because I can display her in Hound mode (maybe someday with Ahab?) and can display her with Excalibur in Phoenix mode.

Interesting that WalMart still has them at $24,99. Hopefully they get the figures and honor that price... but, well... Walmart preorder
 
Got my preorder in for Feral & Rachel at BBTS There was a time I would have bought more from this wave, but at today's prices (and with the state of my finances), I only went for those two. They were the only "must-have" figures in this wave for me.
 
Was thinking of getting Surfer but as I have the one that came with Haslab Galactus, is it worth it?

No kidding! The only figure I've seen in the wild is 1 flame off Human Torch at Target. These must have been severely under produced. I don't think Hasbro and/or retailers had any faith in the movie at all. If I hadn't preordered the Thing, I'd be really bummed not to have him.
 
Preordered Phoenix and Feral.

Beast was tempting but he'd make me go in on Astonishing which I'm not sure I need to do.

Black Widow is tempting but I really only need her in black which I have.

I'd get the DD if the figures were still $19.99

Surfer is a pass.
